NEVER GROOM YOUR PET AT PETSMART!!!!! Huntington..... Some time ago I had my dog groomed at Petsmart. When I went to pick her up, I noticed the groomers whispering to each other in the back. I actually heard one of them ask another, "should we tell him?" There were other customers around and I never put together what they could have been referring to at that time. When I got to my car my dog refused to jump in as she always did so I lifted her in. When we got home I realized that she was in great pain. I went directly back to the store and confronted the groomers who denied anything had happened. I went to management and they back up their groomers and took no responsibility. After several vet visits, xrays, and $700 in bills, I was told she had sustained an injury to her hip most likely cause by a severe twisting or fall, and there was only a small chance that a $3000 surgery (which I was advised not to do) would help her at all. She now lives in pain every day thanks to PetSmart. I understand that accidents can happen, but I dont think their groomers are very experienced. For all I know my dogs groomer was working the cash register the day before. The worst part of it, aside from the pain my dog now suffers, is that PetSmart denied everything and did nothing to help in any way, nor did they even show any compassion at all. Shame on you PetSmart!! I repeat, NEVER have you pet groomed of for that matter do ANY business at all with PetSmart........

This morning I am returning a bag of dog food infested with worms. This is not the first time this has been a problem. Over the last 30 yrs we have had three dogs, each one lived a good long life. Prior to our current dog all dog food was purchased at the local supermarket. Since we have had our current dog we have purchased almost all his food from PetSmart. During the last three years we experienced several occasions when we had moths. Each time the source was traced back to bag of dog food where we discovered it was infested with worms. We check each bag upon opening, and all appears ok. Within two weeks we see a few moths, immediately check the bag, and there are the worms. We thoroughly clean our cabinets after each episode and have even used bleach when cleaning. On a trial we bought a bag from the supermarket and no issues. The very first bag we buy again from PetSmart and in less then two weeks we have an issue again. NEVER buying food from PetSmart again. Ever.

Worst Customer Service! We brought our 2 dogs for boarding since the nearest petsmart from our house was fully booked at that time, and we were greeted by an old woman (Debra) who has a big attitude problem. She acted as if our time is of no importance to her and that we owe her a huge favor by bringing our dogs there. I am no longer surprised why that branch doesnt easily fill up unlike the other branch. The worst part is, when we got our dogs back, both dogs looked like they werent fed properly nor were they given water. For the amount of money that i paid, the last thing I want to see is my dogs acting like they werent treated properly, aside from a foul attitude coming from somebody who have no inter-personal skills.

After arriving at Petsmart to get my dog from being groomed, she was not ready when I arrived. I was told to please wait a few minutes as they were just finishing up in the back! Within 3 minutes of being there i noticed 2 employees giggling in the corner ... A female employee took out the razor and proceeded to groom the the employees head!!! No joke... She used the dog grooming shaver to cut this employees hair! Took out the vacumme and cleaned it up! Right infrint of my eyes! I called to report this to the manager who was telling me I was crazy to think her employees would do this! They without a dought have serious issues behind the sceene and willnever take my dog back there again!!!

I have a yorkie that needed grooming. Got an appointment immediately...that should have been a clue....brought a photo of how I wanted his hair cut. Apparently no one saw the photo or no one really cared, and proceeded to shave the dog down to less that half an inch. Not only did the shave him down, it isnt even an even cut. The dog was not matted and his coat was in good condition, proof being the little report they sent him home with. Never will I return. The groomer was either very inexperienced or did not care.

I had called two days in advance for an appointment with the grooming department and when I arrived with my small dog, they told me that I was not in their system. It was only for a bath and they would not except my dog anyway. The girl with the tattoos could not help me and the blonde girl was rude; they do not really put much effort into helping their customers. Disappointed and frustrated. Will probably not go there anymore.

Went to buy royal canin intense beauty cat food (moist) . Havent restocked in months . They are remodeling the store and it actually smelled worse than I have ever experienced . The smell of wet dirty animal permeated through out the entire store, never has it ever been this bad. Stopped carrying pitrpats cat treats about a year ago. This chain store is going downhill fast

Tried to return something without the receipt, policy says they can take said item and they refused. Also called in advance and asked specifically if I could return it and the clerk told me yes while in the store the manager told me no. Terrible shopping experience and will not be returning. The people who helped me were incredibly rude.

Usually I have a good experience when I go to that PerSmart. But lately the staff is not customer friendly or professional. And there is never a proper member of management to help With any complaints. Do use their hotel either their is a staff member that is very rude and disrespectful which makes me Leary on how my pet was treated.

Brought in a stray kitten with an eye infection. We did not have the money to have her fully checked out, but they were understanding and respectful about this, werent pushy, and helped as much as they could. They even gave us instructions on how to use medication we bought online. I would definitely recommend them!

Friendly staff, good selection. Sometimes its a bit pricey but they have some good sales. My little chihuahua Daisy LOVES to come here and gets so excited like shes at a carnival. Very pet friendly.
