Absolutely horrible experience at the store with the manager/owner! The manager accused me of "threatening him" when I told him that I would not buy another cell phone there again because of the poor service when there is a problem with a phone. that I purchased there. I was stating a fact - Just fix my phone, and I will not come back to ask questions or buy another phone there! Everyone is nice if you are purchasing a new phone or accessories. This mans behavior was very unprofessional, insulting, degrading, and poor representation of the Verizon Company. The manager stated that I was threatening him with not buying a phone while he was providing assistance to me. I found his behavior to be a form of bullying and unacceptable towards a customer or anyone!! His tone of voice was nasty and rude! I have brought this phone back to be fixed approximately three times to Hopewell and once to Wappingers. When I left today, the phone still was not working right. This manager was nasty right to my face in front of other customers! This store also has other branches. One is in Wappingers Falls and the manager of this store also needs an intensive public relations course complete with Verizon monitoring on a consistent basis. If the manager behaves like this, he truly is not setting a good example for his employees My husband and I have purchased many phones over the years from different sales people at the Hopewell site. I did start to feel before this incident that the customer service was going downhill at this location. I should never have continued to purchase telephones from this location in Hopewell. The manager did toss a Verizon phone number at me to connect with a Verizon representative before I left. I knew my conversation was going to go no where with this man! I need my phone for work and dont have time to be verbally abused at the Hopewell location in front of the entire store; I went to the one in Poughkeepsie next to Barnes and Nobles. The young lady there took one look at my phone, pulled up my phone number, and told me that I had purchased a warranty and would receive a new one overnight. No degrading tone and a professional atmosphere at this location. I went there one time today for about ten minutes and the problem was taken care of. I told her about my unpleasant experience today at the Hopewell site. I plan to contact the corporate office tomorrow. This was a horrible experience that could have been taken care of very easily with a few kind words and informing me immediately that I was entitled to a new phone the first time it was brought in. I forgot to mention that the Hopewell site also sold my husband a sym card for my phone that did nothing!! The reader can draw his/her own opinion about ethical treatment at this store. I did tell the manager that I would not be back and this was a statement, not a threat!

I would like to start like these people arent a real verizon wireless store but they are better than a real verizon people. I had an experience with corporate verizon where i had to wait for 3 hrs just to see wheather there was a problem with my email.and i got the phone from them,And after that i know my husband was eligible but they trying to sale the another phone to me.they never setup my email.they said something wrong with your email.they said to call the customer service.they never setup bluetooth in my car.they said they dont alow to go outside the store.they nasty.so i went to the verizon store in hopewell and kumar help me alot without trying to sale me anything. I dont who wrote these reviews that these people are not helpfull or shady. iam in complete disagreement with them, i think they dont know how to do business ( NO OFFENCE). the people in the store especially the assistant maneger KUMAR .I feel he is the best person in this industry and definetly know how to do business and are true professional people. I highly recommend you to go this store for all your business.and ask for kumar

After reading reviews on here about people receiving used phones as new I was very hesitant about starting a new line of service through this store. Well I took a chance and FAILED miserably. I went down there and spoke with a rep about the reviews online about people being sold used phones as new. He assured me this is not true. So I signed up with a new line of service through them. When I received the phone there was no plastic on the screen, I mentioned that to the rep and he said its supposed to be that way. So when I got home I started inspecting the phone a little bit more and noticed some scratches on the back. I immediately called corporate Verizon and had them check if the phone had been used and low and behold....it had been. Those guys sold me A USED PHONE. I was on the phone with Corporate for over 2 hours, they actually have an ongoing investigation with this store for this exact reason. Selling used phones as new. In conclusion BUYER BEWARE these people are wolves in sheeps clothing. They will sell you a used for with a smile on their faces!!

i just know one thing.everybody is not same.and you can not make every customer happy. my personal experience is they are the best sales rep i ever seen in my life.i buy all my phone from this store all the time .once i had an experience going to the corporate store on route 9 in fish-kill and that was the worst experience in my life i had to wait for hours and when it was my turn they were very rood and did not answer my questions correctly..and after that i asked them to hook up my car with the Bluetooth of my phone and they refused to do so...and i came back to this store because my friend recommended me.and they help me without buying anything and they transferred my stuff from old phone to new phone without any charge.from that day on wards i decided never to go anywhere except this store.they are the best love to go over there.

I have deleted my previous review and wish to replace it with a new one. Originally my anger got the better of me for a honest mistake made by one of the sales persons at this store and I wrote a scathing review. Had I not caught the mistake it could have cost me more that $150. However, after going to the store, the manager (Tony) did everything he could to rectify the situation. He was professional and attentive to my problem, fixed it right away and then called my home to let me know that I would be recieving credit in my next bill. Something I verified on my Verizonwireless website. And partly due to a rebate promotion, I actually upgraded my phone to the new 5s while I was there. Lesson learned is to give people a chance to fix a problem before getting angry.

I highly recommend you to go this store for all your business.
