***WARNING - HARTSDALE VERIZON WIRELESS SCAM ALERT*** I am a 2 decade long Verizon customer with 5 phones for my family. I love the Verizon cell service but I hate the Hartsdale store. Why? This store is the epicenter for bait and switch scams. I was suckered into taking 2 different items with me based upon the promise that I would not have to pay anything for them. Well, I can tell you that this is a BOLD FACED LIE - and my Verizon bill has been screwed up for almost a year as a result with more than another full year to go before my bill goes back to normal. I have more than 20 years experience as an Attorney and I quizzed the salesperson thoroughly about the strings attached to the devices I was offered for free. I was assured that the devices would cost me absoutely nothing to purchase and then absolutely nothing on a monthly basis going forward. No strings attached. Unfortunately, everything promised to me was COMPLETELY UNTRUE. I saw my bill increase and immediately callled to Verizon Customer Service to find out what had happened. They told me there was nothing they could do for me and that I should notify the manager of the Hartsdale store. I visited the Hartsdale store, met the Manager, and was told there was absolutely nothing that he could or would do for me. He did not care one iota that I was screwed and ripped off by one of his employees. So now I have charges for 2 unused devices appearing on my bill for $10 each that I cannot cancel if I do not want to incur a termination fee for each device. The end result is that I am screwed until the 24 month contracts run their course. So, to protect the tiny commission paid to a salesman who no doubt is no longer employed by Verizon Wireless, the Manager of the Hartsdale store is willing to tell a long term, highly profitable customer that spends upwards of $5000 yearly for cell service to go screw himself. Thanks but no thanks, I will be taking my business elsewhere and I have already called other carriers to see about buying out my contracts. ***I would advise anyone who disregards my warning and heads into this store to RECORD THE AUDIO and if possible record the video of the entire transaction on your telephone.*** You will have proof and a better argument that a fraud was committed when your bill later inreases unexpectedly.

I tried calling the store today at three different times. Each time, I was pushed to the general call system after nobody in the store picked up. My friend works nearby, I asked him to look in to see if it was busy, he said at least three employees were standing around doing nothing. I eventually settled for the national call center, which gave me wrong info. I ended up taking time off work to run to the store, where they couldnt help me. They could have told me that over the phone, but they were too lazy to pick it up, and probably just rely on the national call center. It may not sound like a big deal, but my phone had stopped charging. Im 8 days away from my upgrade, and I wanted to see if I could do it early. I need my phone for work, including the camera and ability to send pics. National call center said it shouldnt be a problem, in the store, they told me they wouldnt do it. Thanks for making me miss work!

Bought a phone earlier in the day from Verizon in Port Chester, but it did not pair with my cars built in bluetooth. I was not happy. The Port Chester store suggested I call this one at 355 N Central Ave. Spoke to Fernando, the tech manager, he was very helpful and told me to come over right then. I arrived and met him and was immediately helped by Noel, a very polite and friendly technician, who came right out to my car and tried two different phones. One phone worked perfectly - so I exchanged the original for it! I was thrilled! Not even my cars manufacturer (MINI) could help me but these two fellows from Verizon at 355 N Central Ave did! They were excellent! The next phone we buy will be from them, for sure.

This store is not the store that you dont want to visit I spent 1 week going back and forth to the store I took out 2 phones and a hotspot with them The 1st phone number was correct The other 1 was the wrong number & the hotspot was the wrong number too The guy that helped me is stupid to make a mistake with the numbers twice Then when I saw the manager he had the nerves to tell me that its just a mistake I cancelled the service within 8 days and still have to pay for the activation fee for all 3 devices and the restocking fee for all 3 devices plus pay a pro rated bill I would never recommend anyone to get service from those fools / thieves

AWFUL! All these BAD reviews & they simply dont care to correct anything. Just try and reach them via phone, they NEVER pick up! I dont understand a store that sells phones not picking up theirs. I want to call to ask a simple question that can be answered over the phone, and instead I have to take part of my day to drive over there. Because they own the lions share of the market, Verizon just displays an incredible arrogance & indifference towards their customers because theyre in the drivers seat. Pathetic really. The one time a saleskid promised to get back to me he never did. Thats Verizon "service". Pathetic!

I went in simply to upgrade one phone to the 6s. I was offered two tablets free of charge. I asked whats the catch? No catch just keep them for 24 months but there is data associated with them. So my first bill comes and go figure, $40 activation fees on both and $10 per line every month. Doesnt take a mathematician to figure out the $480 line fees and $80 activation fees total $560 over two years for free tablets. Stay far away from this store. Giving them one star is a complement. Oh, and turning the tablets back comes with an early termination fee of $350.

Wait time varied from 15 minutes to 30. Your name is taken & put on a list on an iPad but you have to make sure to go the worker as there is no signage to direct you. There is a large open space & not a lot of clear signage to indicate the phones by brand. One table has Samsung, LG, HTC phones but also prepaid phones. Too confusing. IPhones were against a wall not prominent as I saw people asking where they were. The place is waiting for the new iPhone to display. Confusing displays. I helped 2 customers find IPhones display while waiting!

Make sure you check your pockets when you leave. My wife was told there was a promotion for complimentary ipads if you upgrade your phone. We later find out it was all a hoax. Managers try to convince you otherwise and dont stand by any form of corporate responsibility... This store is notorious for making a sale at any cost. They deceive the customer and then hope you dont pick up on it until after the return policy runs out. It is an old style Used Car Salesman routine..Try to avoid this store if you can.
