I just canceled a $1200. order at this store that was set up for will call. This morning I made some more purchases and paid for the full order, now $1900. After the order was paid for I was told that they could not add new items to the will call list, so I carted those items home. I called back later, was told that the truck would be available at 6:45. It was clear they were unaware of my morning visit. I got to the store about 7PM and nothing was ready, none of the lumber had been pulled as promised. The "service desk" person called somebody in lumber who said a self service truck that I planned to use would not hold the 16’ pieces I had ordered. The lumber manager gave me a litany about how I should have gone to them with the order, not the service desk although signs at that desk clearly indicate that they arrange for pick-up orders. They refused to let me use their truck and they wouldn’t deliver that day. They wouldnt hold the order until my return. The staff is ignorant of the stores own procedures, they do not know that their self service truck wont handle stand lumber items like 16 deck boards, they are generally glib but do nothing. Time to go back to a real lumber yard,

Yesterday (Monday 1/16/17) I went to Home Depot looking to purchase a refrigerator. I had seen their flyer in Sundays paper and also looked on-line at some models. The first salesperson that asked if she could help me went on-line to see the ones that I was looking at, then walked away to attend a meeting. Another salesperson asked if I had any questions and I asked if there were any on display that I could look at. I was told that if I wanted to see those display models I should go to Lowes since they had none on display. She then said "if you have anymore questions I will be at my desk" and walked away. If that was an example of Home Depots customer service, it will be a long time before I go there again for anything! I

This employee by the name sherlly is rude ...and not helpful at all and because I am Puerto ricin ..she was talking to her other employee about me and my kids ....then when I ask for her name she try to say that my son was showing his pritive part ......no way did it happen..

Its a large store inside and that can be both good and bad. Youll find lots of products inside to suit your home needs, but it can be overwhelming if you dont know where to look. Many times youll need the assistance of staff to guide you where to go to find your product.

We just bought a gas grill this afternoon. After putting it together, we found that the igniter didnt work. Called Customer Service and they sent someone today, who replaced the part. The grill was working by dinnertime. This is GREAT Customer Service!

I work as the free quote specialist for kitchen refacing. NY Home Pros is in Home Depot as a store vender, and since Ive been introduced to everyone Ive seen nothing but amazing employees always workin to please. Gotta love doing the job right also.

I ordered a grill and paid for it 2 weeks ago. They were supposed to call me a week and a half ago...never did. The woman from lawn and garden said she had no idea and was too busy to help right now. Thinking about a refund on this one.

Came in with a load of mulch from Maine and they only ask me for the PO# on the phone and ask me what time I would arrived and thats it They receive me the same day I called and great job they are great at shipping and receiving

The male staff at the pro desk are mostly rude and condescending. They seem bothered to talk to you. I will say the flooring departement, which I often visit for business, are very helpful.
