I have been dealing with the Home Depot store in Christiana for many years. Sometimes the service is OK, sometimes its not but I had a great experience with them today and I wanted to share it. I had ordered a dryer for delivery to one of my rental units and set up delivery. The delivery company postponed the delivery to the next day and then the next day they called me up and postponed it for another entire week. I couldnt have my tenants going without a dryer for over 10 days so I called the customer service department at the store. I spoke with Shannon and I spoke with Chris. They delivered me the floor sample dryer The next day and took $100 off of my purchase price for a couple of small dings. I already bought the dryer at a large discount. This was all completed the day before Christmas. Thank you Home Depot you did a great job helping me out. Merry Christmas and happy new year! I will be buying all of my appliances from you in the future.

Gets the job done right! Not known for their customer service and this place is even more terrible than that par. There are maybe a handful of really great people working here and everyone else is bad. Good luck finding someone (I have seen associated run away from people) and when you do many times they will not know product knowledge or even industry knowledge. Pricing is good when it is good and quality is OK. Can be really a pain to shop here sometimes.

If I were asked this 5 yrs ago I would give you 5 stars But in the past few years I have noticed that they have fewer employees available on the sales floor. On my most recent visit once I found an employee and asked for help he simply replied not his department and I needed to see the employee in that department. All that being said they have everything for the DIY and contractor supplies.

Hard to find someone to help with finding something. Wanted a pedestal sink, a toilet, and a vanity. One person said he could look up on a high shelf to see if it was what I wanted but he would have to go get his little machine to get up there and didnt like heights. What??? I thanked him for his time and went to Lowes. They didnt have a problem helping me.

I went to The Home Depot to buy some ethanol-free 4-cycle fuel for my lawnmower. They have it in quart and gallon(?) cans. A lot of other nice things for enjoying summer at home. Tools, maintenance, storage and convenience. Simple.
