DO NOT APPLY THERE. POOR MANAGEMENT. My son was fired after only 2 weeks, the owners son which is the manager told my son he lacked interest when running the cash register. He never got any verbal warnings or complaints from customers or co workers. This was his 2nd job since he just turned 19 and might not have been the most outgoing but was always nice to the customers. Who gets fired for having a "lack of interest in the cash register"???? Ive been in retail management for 20 years and never ever fired a young person or anyone for such a ridiculous reason. He went to work early every shift and enjoyed his job. Plus at the end of my sons shift when Tim fired him he told my son today was a free day, he would not be getting paid for that day. This is illegal, u cant pick and choose what days you will pay your employees. He worked his entire shift so he must get paid for this. I am advising my son to call corporate Monday morning to follow through with this complaint the right way. I know the laws so I feel confident with this outcome.

This Ace Hardware is a fantastic, well run establishment. I worked here for 11 months and for the most part I enjoyed my time. What I can say to any future employees and/or customers is that the people that work here are top notch. The customer service specifically is great. No matter what theyll give you their full attention. I cant say that about many other stores.

I love Ace, Im the annoying girl always going in for paint but they put up with me pretty well. And when I do need something else besides paint, all the staff know where everything is- which is way more than I can say about any other store. And if you sign up for ACE rewards you get 5 dollar coupons in the mail.
