We had a wonderful experience at this location today. A few members of the staff were particularly helpful, professional, and polite. They truly went above and beyond to help my wife and me with a fairly large purchase. First, George immediately aided in our decision on which lawn mower to purchase (Honda HRR216VKA). Once we had that choice made, we proceeded to do the rest of our shopping. When it came time to check out, George was easy to find and he brought our mower up to the front. At that point, we had some questions about a coupon and Chandra at the Customer Service desk couldnt have been more professional and accommodating. Once the purchase was complete, George and Tevin were incredibly helpful in loading our items into the car. We did not have a truck or SUV, so fitting a lawn mower AND a toilet into a Mitsubishi Galant was no easy task. They never complained during the laborious process and even unboxed our mower in order to fit it in the trunk. When everything was loaded up, they disposed of the box and George cut out the UPC in case we needed it for the warranty registration. Right before we left, I offered both George and Tevin a tip, which I have never done at any retail location in the past, but they refused. They simply shook my hand and told me to have a great day. I hope either the store manager, or a district manager, sees this review, as George, Tevin, and Chandra certainly deserve some praise and hopefully a raise. If all Home Depot employees were as helpful and nice as they were, I would never shop at one of their competitors again.

process started in December 08. I have ordered special order Panel Tracks. It has been a nightmare trying to get someone on the phone to track my order down. When I have gotten someone on the phone they can not understand their information in their system to help the customer. They blame this on other associates. I then picked up my order but their was a problem with one of the Panel tracks. The installer said he called and placed the reorder . When I call a month later the home depot says he did not call. They said I need to talk to him. Great customer service. So I call him he starts to tell me how inefficient Home depot is. Long story short. Another month and a half goes by no one orders anything. I spoke to their special orders person she said it was just ordered only a week ago from 3/26/09. She helps, and assures me that she will call when the order is ready. Home Depot just did not help and the customer service is very much to be desired. Finger pointing and leaving the customer as the go between for their authorized installers. The installer was too busy telling me he has never installed the product I ordered and asking me why am I spending so much money on this product. he also tried to sway me from what I wanted for his convienience. Before meeting me he said racial slurs. Impying that the shades would be good for a Geisha house. I asked for another installer and you guessed it he is the only person they have for the area. I am not happy with the Home Depot or the Installer and will never, ever go back to this 3600 Miller Road location again.

Whats good : Place is pretty much well stocked, Nursery is well maintained with healthy plants at great prices. Also look out at clearance sales to get great deals on tools. Quality of materials is pretty good. Quite some nifty kitchen fittings in kitchen section. Unbeatable in tools section. Options of free installation on certain items pretty good. Truck rental prices pretty good too. Whats not : kitchen and bathroom fittings lack on options. Need to upgrade the inventory in this section.

So far in-stock item selection and generally basic professionalism and urbanity of conduct, demeanor, and interaction with customers or clients of staff have all remained good at this Home Depot location since its ca.-summer, 2005 opening.
