Bike tuneup was a little pricey but worth it - they walked through what theyd do to my bike, asked what kinds of issues Id been having, and then fixed her up like new! I was planning on selling my bike this year but have decided to keep it based on how well shes running now. Much better than the place I used last year. They even took the time to replace the cap at the end of my handlebar that I forgot to point out.

One of the best bike repair shops in NYC. By far the most competent and affordable and accessible. They dont sell new bikes and theyre a non-profit so you are not going to get a hard sell for anything. ALSO if youre a DIY tinkerer they have milk crates full of used basic parts that you can pick through: Hubs, brakes, shifters, stems, pedals, seatpost, etc. And it all goes for a good cause.

I finally went to Recycle-A-Bike after continually going to crappy, unknowledgeable bike shops in Brooklyn for a constant flat tire. They were the only shop to fully inspect the tire and found the object that was causing the flats. They stand behind their work 100% and if the problem persisted would have inspected the tire again for free!! I love them and am now able to enjoy my bike!

A great shop for finding used parts, and bikes as well as new expendable parts such as tires, etc... They are a community based shop that support children in learning to fix and ride bikes. The staff are helpful and fairly knowledgeable. It is not a high-end bike shop so has limited selection of speciality, parts.

Great staff friendly mixed ages and reasonable prices... Had to take my bike back once to have the crank readjusted and they didnt hesitate to help me and were apologetic for not doing it on the first shot.
