I asked these gentlemen if they could bleed my hydraulic brakes and check out my crank. They said, "of course!" I left my bike with them that Friday and they told me theyd do it over the weekend. So, I called back on Monday and was told - "we need to order the fluid." Reasonable enough I thought, so I said Ill check back in a couple of days. I called back on Wednesday and they gave me the same line, "weve got to order the fluid." So, no one has ordered it yet? I asked how long would that take, and they guy said, "call back tomorrow and talk to the owner." I called back on Thursday, and the owner wasnt in. So, on Saturday, I came by to pick up my bike - and of course, no one had worked on it at all - not even to check out my crank! What a waste of time and horrible service! Thumbs down on Neighborhood Cycle.

I would give them no stars if possible but need to for a rating. I went to get a pair of bike glove and a small under seat bag. Bag was $16.99 over priced by $10 and a pair of gloves for just under $30 fair price. I get charged and sign. Trusting in him i leave. When i get home i put on my glasses to see my reciept and i come to realize that that low life scum ball charged me $75 plus $6.o6 total of 81.o6 for something that should had been no more than $47 plus tax. Word to the wise dont bother even going there. Thieves like that do not deserve to run a business. He cought me good due to my loosing my vision from diabetes. I hope he looses evrything that he has gotten with his swindling. I also suggest to make complaints to the better business bureau. I will also take this to the news.

Never again. If these guys treated me right, Id be there crackhead - buy the product & return over and over again to get my fix! The owner and his workers are unprofessional. I take a red/white bike with problems. When I called the next day, Im being told my yellow bike is ready. WTF! I asked again if they checked out the problem I brought it in for & Im told to call back tomorrow. Uh shouldnt you be calling me back?? Finally got the bike, but they didnt fix all of the problems. No matter, either way I already decided Im not doing biz with them again. Dont think the owner cares anyway, its like hes ready to go outta biz. Wouldnt wish it on anybody esp in this economy but he just might get his wish. Sad!!

Seriously cool fellas. Passionate guys who represent everything cycle. Gentleman who runs the place gave a good deal on a Trek 21-speed and provided test service w/no hassle. Repairs are done in minutes, often free, theres back room devoted to the trade. Warranties offered and a serious selection. Possibly the best hidden bike store in the Bronx. Those who speak down on the owners, calm yourselves. Its a very different retail format than a department store or something generic, be chill have some respect. They work hard so you can ride home and not have to settle for MTA.

One of the few bike shops in The Bronx, this has been a local must go to place for many decades. The attitude of the workers and owner can be hit or miss which can be very off putting. Prices are decent and the local youth always brings their bikes there so I feel confident that theyre doing a good job. My only suggestion would be for them to try to be a consistent 100 percent on positive attitude. 3 of my friends walked out because of the attitude and they spent 3k elsewhere. I go to keep my money local.

Really bad service,when there to adjust the deralleurs fron and rear and the guy broke the broke the shifter wire the front deralleur and the rear and also left the bike worse than it was i got there riding and came back on feets.i when there because i really was needing but also i knew they work like.very bad and the owner called Jeff does make responsible for what happens if you can go somewhere else go and avoid a hard time

Took my bike in for something minor. While there, the owner noticed my rear wheel was out of true. They charged me a pittance for that(not much,) but when riding away, noticed that they didnt properly mount my rear wheel to the bike. The nuts werent even finger tight on my bikes rear wheel. Im lucky I didnt have an accident from that.

Got my family bikes there they werent cheap very expensive I paid $860.00 for all 3 bikes.the manager dont give deals but fast service when u pay cash.best to hit the store when barely customers there dont go when a group of teenage boys there cause they will block up the shop outside and in but far from that Im satisfied

This place is great. Honestly, some of the nicest guys around. One of the employees actually talked me through how to fill a presta valve tube because if he did it for me he would have to charge me. This just goes to show how much they care about their customers and are not just trying to snake you out of your money.

Great local store! This seller has been in the neighborhood for several generations and he is always ready to help. His prices are good and he is very compassionate. He has good brands - I recently bought a Trek bike for my little guy and he loves it! A great store for families and serious riders.

This store is pretty good but they over price everything. Your better off in bike store located on 138 and willis . I like to compare prices and if you wanna save money I recommend doing it yourself or going to the one on 138

Helped me avoid buying a new seat (saddle) by adjusting the bars and seat to better suit my riding style . Didnt charge me either . So I returned the favor by buying a brighter set of bike lights. Thanks!
