This place is great! Everything was better than expected. I had a ring repaired and resized and was amazed at the quality, honesty and price. Dont go anywhere else. If you call around, youll find that this is the best price and the personal service was worth the price alone. I was sooo pleasantly surprised. I used to people like mechanics trying to jack me on prices for fake repairs so I was cynical when the owner started pointing out the cracks in the ring when all I asked for was a resizing. I was quoted $60 for a resizing at the Macys jewlery dept. over the phone. The guy at Court st, fixed all the cracks (which were noticeable), resized the ring, cleaned and polished it all for $45. He doesnt take cards so I had to go to the bank down the street. I was going to leave the ring there while I went but he said to keep it on! Its amazing how in a big city of self-serving corporations, theres still some quality small town style personal service. Ill go here and tell all my friends to go here for all jewelery needs.

About 8 years ago I had a ring made by this guy at a jewelry store on Court St. around the corner where I was in BK. ... I have since left and moved around a bit, and after some time have some stones I need to have set, polished and repaired. After hearing horror story after horror story about friends who have been robbed by jewelers switching stones, I thought of this guy. I was hoping he was still on Court St. and thankfully he is! He is a former Tiffany Jeweler and he made me a stunning platinum and diamond band which I cherish to this day. He is TRUSTWORTHY! I would feel totally comfortable with leaving my most valuable pieces with him at his store. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THIS JEWELER!! He is actually the ONLY one I trust!

I just had my engagement ring re-sized here and he did a fantastic job. The fit of the ring is just what I asked for. Im not sure if this is typically complimentary, but he cleaned the ring for me without my requesting it. The ring is an antique and although my fiancé had had it cleaned before giving it to me, the owner must have some special technique because it looked just amazing when I picked it up. It had not glittered nearly as much before. The owner was also very generous in answering my questions about the antique qualities of the ring. On a side note - while I wasnt there to shop, there were also many very beautiful and unique pieces of antique jewelry in the shop. I will most likely be back!

Great guy, he speaks plainly and honestly and gets right down to business. He restored my fiancees great-grandmothers 100+ year old engagement ring to practically brand new. Basically saved me thousands of dollars from having to go out and buy one myself. It looks amazing and now she can wear something with character and history. He does watches, jewelry, basically anything tiny and metal. If he does a big job for you he will remember you too and do free cleanings and stuff. Cant recommend enough.

Jacob is the kind of old school jeweler you wish you found years ago! Hes simply fantastic and knows his stuff. We brought a vintage (1920s) engagement ring to be resized and he did such a tremendous and seamless job. Had it done in 24 hours and it looked better than when we brought it to him. Overall, Id highly recommend him for any thing and will be seeing him soon to create custom wedding bands. Note its cash only (told you hes old school).

I put $80 down on a ring he called a "gypsy ring" and every time I went to go put money on it no matter what the time he was never open. when I finally saw the shop open I patiently waited through his line of customers and then he said he didnt have record of my payment nor the ring. Then told me something about his mother being ill. :( terrible customer service. I never got my money back.

Best in Brooklyn! AND he treats his customers very well. This guy is amazing and very knowledgeable. He fixed my engagement ring so it fit my finger perfectly. He also cleaned my ring and made it shine more then I have ever seen it shine! He said I could come back and he would shine it for me whenever I wanted. Bonus: He also has a super cute dog!

I recently borrowed from a friend, and then broke the hinge of, a 1940s aluminum ice bucket. The owner managed to laser-weld the hinge. I have brought jewelry in for repair in the past, and have always found the owner friendly, helpful, reasonable and prompt. Plus he has a cool selection of vintage jewelry.

My ring looks fabulous. I didnt like the back of my ring looking like it was welded but overall the front is seamless. I look forward to doing more business here in the future. Surely a great character, no BS, tell you what you need to do to execute kind of guy. I appreciate his service. Be blessed!

Resized my vintage engagement ring to fit perfectly, and explained the process thoroughly so I knew what was going on. When I got my ring back, it was polished so well that everything sparkled - and I hadnt even asked for it to be cleaned. Great service, wish I had a reason to go there more often!

Absolutely amazing service. The owner is the man- fixed my gold necklace on the spot for 25$. First time Ive ever written a review on Google, or for that matter any website. Cannot beat friendly, profession service. Hands down, go to this place if you want something fixed quickly and professionally.

I went in not knowing what I wanted or what I was looking at. Jacob tried his best to fit my budget and in the end helped me customize a gift for my wife that I am hoping stays in our family for generations. He cleaned and boxed it up for me free of charge. Knowledgeable no nonsense guy.
