I am getting married in 1 month and brought in my 14k white-gold wedding band with 7 smaller diamonds to be resized and engraved. Instead of measuring my finger, Richard Kenneth measured my engagement ring (sized 5.25). I was a little apprehensive so asked I him “Are you sure you don’t want to measure my finger?” as to which Richard arrogantly replied “I’ve been doing this for 20 years.” He told me the ring will be ready in 2 weeks and I pre-paid $75 for his services. I came back 2 weeks later to pick up my ring. The ring was filthy, it was too big (he resized it to 5.5), the engraving looked as if a blind man did it and it had indentations around the edges. I pointed out my dissatisfaction to Richard and the carelessness with which my sentimental piece of jewelry was handled. I asked why he would size my wedding band to a size larger than my engagement ring and asked him to measure my actual finger. Richard was becoming very hostile; however he measured my finger and confirmed that my finger is actually a size 5! After he realized he made a mistake and at this point, insulted me many times, he told me that he no longer wants to deal with me and will not fix the ring. I asked him to refund my money to which he said absolutely not and told me I can dispute the charges myself with my credit card company. I have never been treated like this by a merchant in my entire life. Richard Kenneth is a terrible businessman. The kind which, when faced with a problem, turns his face the other way and refuses to own up to his mistakes. Please stay away from this store for your own peace of mind.

Rip off. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Girlfriend brought him a bracelet to repair a couple of years ago. All he had to do was string the pieces. Months later she came back. Still not done. He insisted on charging her for the job because he had ordered (and received) the cord, and claimed he had to drill one of the pieces --which he didnt--and wanted to be paid up front for it before he did the work. She paid him, got the bracelet back and took it somewhere else. If he cant be trusted to deal fairly on repairs, Id never trust him on appraisals.

AVOID THIS PLACE AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. So I went to get some silver earrings polished and this stop was on my journey. He said it would cost me $10 which I thought was OUTRAGEOUS but I needed it done stat. When I paid with my card he charged me $15 and gave me $4 back. How crooked is that?!? On top of it, he asked for my husbands name, our address and telephone number! Who does this? Im reporting to the better business bureau. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I walked in today just to browse and within 5 minutes asked him to let me out! He was the rudest, nastiest person Ive ever talked to, and I work in real estate! I am still reeling. He was in total attack mode, for only god knows why! I was in a great mood, looking at his jewelry and he proceeded to ask me questions and hurl insults at me! What???!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Richard Kenneth today. I went in for appraisals of several pieces of jewelry. He took his time in explaining what my pieces were worth, and why. I found him to be a very kind and caring man. He was very honest and helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone.

I cannot even begin to tell you what transpired when I walked into this shop. The man told me his life story. I visited again with some jewelry to sell. The owner is mentally unstable. I do not know how he stays in business. He will be sitting with his "stash" until the place closes.

If you are looking for unique antique jewlery this is the place to go.....Mr. Kenneth may not be that warm and fuzzy guy ....but your not taking him home.....I drop by every time I am in the city.
