I went into the store this morning to clean my rings and get new watch batteries. They told me it took about a week to get my ring cleaned. When I questioned why it took so long and that I had never encountered this at other jewelers, they told me they have been in business for awhile and people trust them. Fine, so I started to leave my items with them. About 3 minutes later a man who Im assuming is the owner came out and said. You know thats insulting that you would said people dont trust us. I said thats not what I meant. I would just feel weird without my ring for a week trying to diffuse the situation. He continued to say how insulting it was even though I said that was not how I meant it. And then he said I could take my business elsewhere which I did. That being said. 1. Being that Im a first time customer why would I know how long theyve been in business? 2. Why does that mean I automatically have to trust them? Doesnt a business have to gain a consumers trust? 3. After I said that wasnt what I meant why would the owner continue to talk back to me in a rude way? I am in the business of customer service on a daily basis and I am appalled at the way I was treated. There are a million other jewelry stores who deserve business. Horrible!

I went to Addessi Jewelers to have several pieces of antique jewelry appraised, along with a number of vintage watches. Having never been through an appraisal, I was nervous about leaving the pieces as they have great sentimental value to me. The store manager Lorella Colonna put all my fears to rest and turned the process into a wonderful learning experience! She gave me excellent advice about which pieces to have investigated and shared her expertise about precious metals and stones. She kept me updated and when the job was done spent a great deal of time going over every page of the appraisal. Paul Indorf is a Master Gemologist Appraiser and his written valuation included extensive descriptions and photographs of each piece. Thank you Lorella and Paul for all of your hard work and for being such nice people as well.

I had a European cut diamond and platinum band of my grandmothers that was close to 100 years of age. A stone fell out and upon inspection it was clear to Addessis amazing Lorella Colonna that the ring was so beaten up it needed a complete overhaul. With 24 differently sized stones this was quite a challenge. Lorella, store manager and Addessis jeweler Jeff spent time with me, lots of time, reviewing various settings that might accommodate both the irregularities common to European cut diamonds with my taste preferences and heavy wear and together we came up with a custom made ring that was far more than the sum of its parts!!! Thank you. I am now very bling happy. What impressed me most of all was the patience and attention to detail that was paid to this project. Bravos all around.

My fiance and I recently purchased a very unique and custom made wedding ring at Addessi Jewelers and we could not be more pleased. We primarily dealt with Lorella, who was very pleasant and helpful with our purchase and was willing to work with us as we determined exactly what we wanted. Lorella arranged for several rings to be shipped to the store so that we could better determine the style of ring we wanted without being limited to the in-store options. Once we decided we wanted to move forward with a custom ring, Lorella arranged to have molds of the custom design created and sent to the store so that we could try them on with my engagement ring to ensure it was the look we had envisioned. Overall, we had a great experience with Addessi Jewlers and would recommend them to all.

We have purchased almost all our jewelry and watch purchases there and the service we received was outstanding…it was always a fun buying experience as my wife would say. What a fabulous experience shopping at Addessi Jewelers! Wayne, Kate and the rest of the staff are so professional. I brought my best friend to speak to Wayne about designing a ring for her. She lives out of state and could have had the ring made elsewhere, but she was so impressed with Waynes vision that she left it in his capable hands! She loves the finished product and visits whenever she s down in Fairfield County.

I have shopped several times over the years at Addessis for different occasions. The staff is very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and helpful. They carry a full range of jewelry from diamonds and gems for my wife, to jewelry for my young daughters. They are the only jeweler in the area that could hand engrave chinese characters (a special anniversary gift from my wife). It is a gem of a place down town!!!
