The "Authentic Eye-talian" is one of the best submarine sandwiches Ive ever had in my life. That alone is reason enough for me to visit the Ashville General Store, but the selection of hard-to-find candies, unusual beverages, and spectacular selection of food sure sweeten the pot. This converted agriculture store is a little on the pricey side, and its decor is rust-belt tacky, but youll forget all about that the moment you sink your teeth into fresh bread, crisp vegetables, and delicious cured meats.

Website cleary states $31.99 for 50 wings, get there and it ended up being at least $10 more before tax lol, walked out having paid $47.50... I guess ask them if their own sites prices are correct when you order. Jokes

Best place for breakfast-- eggs, hash browns, bacon, wheat bread and strawberry preserves. Poke around in the store while its cooking! I always pick up pig ears for my dogs while Im there.
