Deceptive pricing in the appliance department. I went shopping for an oven at the Las Cruces Sears. After selecting an oven I let an employee know we were ready to purchase the oven. The employee began by letting us know that unless we signed up for a Sears credit card, shipping would be $65 (Home Depot and Best Buy both ship for free without such a stipulation). While we were considering what to do with this the employee then let us know that the price labeled on the oven was for a different color and that the oven we had selected actually cost $80 more, when I asked him if he thought that was misleading to label and oven with the wrong price he pointed to very small print indicating the color the price applied to and said "Well it says the price is for a white oven". I didnt appreciate the "You should have known better" reaction and was very disappointed in the questionable business practices this sears seems willing to use.

The only reason I am giving a 2 star rating is because of the after sell experiance. I bought a new washer and dryer monday and the team were very helpful and gave us a good deal. I was going to pick the units up myself but was offered a "professional installation" for 80 bucks. That "professional install" included them dropping the units off in my living room! Not even putting them in place. Didnt even bring hoses or a power cord! Said that was extra! What appliance doesnt come with a power cord! Thankfully I kept my old one. I had to put them in place ( I dont own a dolly) and install them myself. Once I called the manager, she did discount the total bill 90 dollars. So I am glad they did that at least.

I bought a large air conditioner 2 years ago with the 5-year in-home extended warranty. The May, went to set it up, power wont work. Called for sevice, have to wait 3 weeks for tech. Its hot in southern NM with no a/c. The tech will be by between 8am and 5pm. Take a whole day off from work. With missing pay, it would have been cheaper just to hire someone on my own, but I must have paid $300 or more for that service agreement. Still no tech has shown up. I hate walmart, but sears service has gone to hell, where else to turn for appliances?

Since Kmart bought out there company Sears has really gone down the tube. They have reached an all time new low. Price match is a joke, was told go online if I see it cheaper they would match it, thats half the story they have to have an online store and a store front? or wont price match? Shady people at Sears electronics! Sad service!

Terrible customer service. 5 hours of phone calls to return a washer that broke and flooded my home, and it still isnt resolved. Delivery and return pickup dates and times rescheduled randomly. No wonder so many people hate this company.

I bought a class ring made out of CELLEBRIUM from the Sears "Tower Jewelry" collection. Turned my finger green and made a little skin fall off. The people at Sears were nice enough to refund my money but, BEWARE of CELLEBRIUM jewelry!!!

Do not gI here for anything if you can at all help it. They say they did the work I paid for but they did not. They did the minimal to rectify the situation. I still left unhappy and will never go back again.
