CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE IS A JOKE!! I only gave it 1 star because it wouldnt allow me to do ZERO stars. We bought a $45 harness for our medium sized Belgian Malinois at Southwest Pet Supply a week or so ago. The very first night that we put it on him, it completely ripped where the leash connects. My son took it back to Southwest Pet Supply where he was basically told to pound sand. They would not replace the harness that broke, although it was supposedly made for a dog a lot heavier than the one we have. I called up to Southwest Pet Supply and spoke with a lady named Brittany(I believe her name was) and I explained to her what had happened and she proceeded to inform me that I was out of luck. I asked if they stood beside the product they sell in their stores. She then responded she would do me a favor by calling the company that made the harnesses to see if they would warranty it for me. She was supposed to call me back the next day. That was over a week ago. I wouldnt buy anything here again. I dont mind paying more for product and I will give businesses who believe in good customer service ethic ALL of my business and I will even send everyone I know to them. This will NOT be the case with Southwest Pet Supply. I would rather take a chance and order everything online. Ive been in retail for 20 yrs, much of that in management, and this is certainly not the way to take care of customers. Had it been a few days, or weeks after the initial purchase, I wouldnt worry so much about it. But this happened HOURS after we purchased it. Thanks...but no thanks Southwest Pet Supply.

These people are selling puppies with parvo please Community speak up if you have ever bought a dog from them and it has died or any animal from them. My beautiful little chihuahua puppy that I got from this store I got it on the 2nd and it passed away last night on the 12th from parvo. The vet that we brought the puppy to hold us that a litter of huskies showed up at their veterinarian all of them having parvo half of the litter dying they have a history. I would recommend anybody that is looking for any type of companion would not go to the store cuz your heart will break once you lose it and they do nothing about it. Im stressed please be responsible do not get your puppies from them because you will be wasting your money and losing someone that you could care about.

bought a puppy from here that died from parvo 10 days later. vet says theyve seen multiple animals bought from that store come in with parvo for at least 6 months. they refuse to refund and continue selling sick puppies. they dont care about the animals or peoples feelings, only want to make a buck.

our puppy tested positive for parvo at the vet 3 days after we took it home; broke our hearts. Ive only heard negative feedback from people in the community about Southwest Pet Supply. Seems that the lesson we learned is go get a puppy from the pound, not a puppy mill. Lesson Learned.
