DO NOT GO HERE. I think they completely broke my hard drive while trying to fix it. My portable external hard drive hasnt been turning on all the way for the past few weeks. After contacting tech support with no luck, I decided to go to this place because its local. I was a little wary because its only Mac compatible, but they assured me they could see what was wrong. Days went by and I didnt hear from them, so I called and they told me they were able to get it to respond and would be able to transfer the data onto a new hard drive for $150 within 4-8 hours. I needed a few files immediately, so I told them what file I needed and they told me theyd call back in a bit once they got the file for me. Again, didnt hear from them, so right before closing I called and they tell me they actually couldnt get the hard drive to respond. Theyd put it in the "freezer" to cool it down because "that works sometimes" but that didnt do anything. They said the next step was to send it off-site for data recovery, starting at $500-600. So I went to pick it up. Luckily, they didnt charge me. But when I got home, I tried plugging in the hard drive again out of curiosity, and now I get an error message that its drawing too much power. I tried plugging it into the back of my desktop Mac and it TURNED THE TOWER OFF IMMEDIATELY. How much power could a 500gb drive need? Im really upset and if I cant get the data recovered elsewhere they will hear from me.

Took my PC in to have it looked at cause it was running slow. After a $100 bill they told me it was fixed it was not , they also told me that the Windows XP serial sticker was not on the PC so it was a illegal copy and they couldnt reinstall the OS..guess they never looked all the way at the computer cause the sticker was attached to the bottom of the PC. NEVER AGAIN
