I am very disappointed in your store today. Two weeks ago, I requested more info about your vet clinic, and was given a veterinary clinics cards. I then asked, do I need to make an appointment? The lady in the store said no, you just need to be here between 10am and 12 noon just like the card stated. I said wonderful! I will be here! I cancelled a previous engagement that I had for April 12th (today) and gathered up my elderly cat and his necessary paperwork for the Dr, who would be examining him. We arrived at 11:15 and I was greeted by a young girl, who told me, that they were no longer taking anyone else. She said the reason was, that there were approx.10 people before me, and the people running the clinic had to leave early. I was so angry, because I had just drove 35 minutes to your location, and cancelled a previous engagement, only for you to then turn me away. Your the one who told me, that I did not need an appointment and I was early today. If you have an event where a person is not allowed to make an appointment, then it would be only proper for you to stop the sign in process at 12 noon when it ends, and not before. I wont be buying anything in your store. Sadly, I would much rather patronize a small mom and pop store, over big box anyway.

I prefer this store to the larger Petsmart. Everyone in my local Somers Point store is helpful. They carry some of their own brands in apparel and dog food. For instance I just changed my dog food over to "taste of the wild". The other companies do not carry this brand (however Im not sure where this company "hunts" wild boar or Bison!!! The store is very neat and well stocked. As with everything today I wish all the prices were a little less (the reason for the 4 star rating). However, they have a very nice rewards system and you get a $10 dollar credit every so often.

Excellent place very helpful young lady running the store, I noticed late one night that my four-legged fur baby was starting an ear infection being from out of town I ran out looking for a store where I can buy medication. The store was clean and wealth stock shelves.

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the products are higher quality. A little more expensive, but its worth it for the quality. They also have dog cookies and baked treats in addition to the animal horns and bones.
