My brother bought a car from Bobbitts. Finding and buying the car was great. They even offered free oil changes for life! Every time my brother took his car there for an oil change they tried to upsell him on something else. As a former mechanic i always advised against it. Recently he took his car for an oil change, had no issues or problems just time for maintenance. He called me and said Bobbitts qouted him for a 700$ repair. The service manager claimed his drain plug on his oil pan stripped out and the oil pan and gasket needed to be replaced. I spoke with the service manager and he tried to convince me that over time drain plugs just strip out from going in and out. As a mechanic i know this is a lie and the reason why this drain plug striped out was from over tightening. The best part, i was an employee for Bobbitts. I was actually a mechanic for them. I am no longer a mechanic and i credit Bobbitts for this. I would get "talked too" for not upselling or finding an issue with a customers car. Because they were a Buick dealer when i worked there, most of their customer base was elderly people who didnt know better. This place makes me sick. Oh and chips had to fix their mistake and it cost my brother 125$. Bobbitts refuses to reimburse him and said the best they can do is have him bring the car back in. Let the people who broke it and blamed it on wear and tear inspect his car to make sure the honest mechanic fixed it right?!? No thanks.

at one time i thought this place was a great place, but no it is not. i bought a beautiful used 2009 bright blue dodge caliber there. look i did not do my homework, Dodge was at fault here too turns out any one who bought the car after 2009 which i did the warranty was null and void. so after a few months i heard noises i took it back to bobbits auto service and they told me i needed a whole new transmission which would cost over $3000. the warranty that bobbits had on my car only covered oil changes, through all this i found out i lost my job. i told this to mr. bobbit sr. and he said dont worry about it will give you a discount, but when i got my bill there was no discount and the bill was higher. i also found out later that in the process of putting my transmission in they cut my washer fluid line and now another $200 for that. what i did wrong is i should have check the work they did before i left the lot. a wise man once told me, trust no one.

I have taken a 2007 Cadillac here to have the electrical wire harness installed. Tell me why after receiving it the car dies because they lose then nut to the postive cable and didnt tighten back. Or 2007 Chevy avalanche. New engine for them to install, New manifold, well they also replaced flange hardware. OK if you see a problem why dont you fix it and not use a bandaid. Well because the truck sat waiting for a new Transmission. When brought to there attention. BOBBITTS excuse oh it out of time warranty! Didnt even look at the miles. Lol this is there mechanics work they are standing by! Will never return.
