Wow, this place is something I wont recommend. Bacicaly my brake caliper gone on the highway, i came to this place to buy brake caliper. First they said they dont have it, so after I told them that Im coming from other AutoZone which 2 miles away and they confirmed that you have it, and send me here to buy it, they send me to other representative/cashier and he was able to find 2 of them. So I bought brake caliper, and told that I will change it now, so representative was very nice and he gave me free rubber gloves, so I would not get my hands so dirty. I came outside, jack up the car took the wheel down, and 2 people come to me offered me help, which I refused, because it is easy to change caliper, and I did it a lot of times. So they right away told me, that I have to leave, because they working here(not officially) and cops will show up anytime and give me a ticket. I already at that time took caliper down, all I had to do is change brake line and put new caliper. So I told that car cannot be driven on 3 wheels, and I will finish in 10 min. They left. Now other guys came and started telling me that Im wrong, started asking for cigarettes, but Im not smoking and I told them, so they telling me that you better leave, and I said I will as soon as I will finish. He left and right away lady came out of AutoZone and she showed me sign around the corner that you cant work or fix your car at their property. She said that she is a manager in this AutoZone, and I told her that I even got free rubber gloves from your store, and no one told me that I cant fix car or change parts here. So I told that Im putting everything back together and leave. She left, and in 2 minutes 3 police cars came, but I already put on the car and put car on the ground, one thing is my wheel bolts was not tied up. All the people who was trying to tell me to leave GONE with words, We Told You.... So officer went inside AutoZone, and came out, so I approached him, and told him that I need to tie the bolts, and leave. He said no problem. Do it and leave. No ticket, because they didnt see the car apart. Also I did it in 10-15 min. But I had so much stress because of all this situation. So as I understand those people can work on their property, but me as a customer, can not. I personally seen those people fixing cars there and making money. So I think all people must have same Rights, there is no way you let someone fix cars on your property everyday, and others cant do it once.

One employee stood next to the register but refused to check out items because she was supposedly on lunch. Three other employees stood by the other computers waiting to search for parts??? while l waited. I simply returned the items to the shelves and left. Dont expect decent customer service here. Employees are moody...very typical of businesses in Newark.

Its okay as a last resort. The lot has street mechanics outside fixing cars. It would not be a problem if they cleaned the lot and free up parking space for customers. Go further in the back.

A dump. The store has your needs but the outdoors is littered and never cleaned. Bums and lots of loitering. I have them 2 stars because they do have auto needs.
