They are very incompetent. Made an appointment the week prior to get my brakes fixed and they never ordered the parts. As I waited, 1 customer came in furious because his car was supposed to be fixed and shipped to California. Several customers were calling in to complain. I had to reschedule for the following day. I came in at 11am the following day for what I was told for a 2hr service and was still waiting 5hrs later. Another woman came in for an oil change and was in shocked she was still there 2 1/2 hours later. I ended up having to leave to pick up my children from school. I was told the car would have been ready but they told my husband it would not be ready until the next day. I am extremely disappointed on how the whole situation was handled. I will not be returning to pepboys.

worse than what i went in to fix. I had purchased brembo front racing brakes, and its fine that they didnt know how to fix it (i shouldve just gone to a speed shop) so I had asked to put my original stock brakes back on... they didnt even know how to put those back on. The moment I left that shop, I heard the worst noise from my left front brake that was NEVER there when I had gone to the place. Now i have to wait another 2 weeks to repair that mistake that I didnt have in the first place because that joker didnt knowing what he was doing...come on its stock brakes. I thought you guys would specialize with brakes and tires....never again.

This place is great! Im new in the area and was trying to find a trustworthy mechanic. I made an appointment online for an oil change and diagnostic. I knew some of the work I needed done but I wanted to see what they would say. They where very fast with the oil change and when I decided to have more work done that day (new brakes) they finished that up jist as quickly. Very affordable, much less expensive than I thought it would be. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I usually dont like chains but I will definitely return here whenever I need work done.

Didnt have my headlight in stock despite PBs www saying it was. Told me that the bulbs did not come in single packs as the www described. They did take the time to find a nearby store that did have them however and I appreciate that. I was further scratching my head, however, when I got to the Caldwell store and proceeded to be handed 2 single pack headlight bulbs, which "dont exist". Go figure. TL;DR friendly and helpful, but out of sync with online inventory and willing to be adamant despite being misinformed. Be careful.

I went to Pep boys to get my tires balanced over the weekend, and I just wanted to share how amazing their team was. The customer service was outstanding, from the manager to the guys working on my car! As a woman and being I dont know much about cars, I feel as if when going to get my car worked on, places will always find something wrong with my car. At this location, I felt they were genuine in helping make sure my car was good and didnt try to play me out of my pockets. Thank you guys!!! -Sarah Dugan

Took forever to get a simple oil change about an hour an half. Never had to wait more than 45 min usually. Service was fine, however this just a service station. Unlike all other pep boys which are large stores with tons of stuff to buy. Not your first choice for you pep boys but it might be better if others are overwhelmed with long wait times.

Needed to get a tire plugged late in the day. 2 other shops told me to come back the next day, but it was an emergency and this place had us in and out in less than 15 minutes and the job was done well enough to hold. This was already 2 weeks ago and I have had no problems since.

I had a flat tire and needed a last-minute emergency tire fix. The very nice manager, himself, fixed my tire AFTER the store had closed. He also did this after something had just happened to his bike. I havent met anyone as upstanding as the employees and the manager here.

Zero stars! I made appointment online 1 week before visit. Got confirmation email, on appointed day and time I arrived at location and was told by manager they had no record of my appointment. he did not seem to care , I wasted my whole Saturday! Will never go back there.

The workers lifted my minivan so high that the roof hit a section of metal on the shop’s garage hinge. I filed a case and pep boys compensated the amount required to fix it. The garage workers there are not properly trained. I do not recommend this place.

I was not fully satisfied with answers and service. For example when I told that I have wheel shake on 65 mph, the guy answered that he can not check that because he dont want to get a ticket. Ok, I understand, but what should I do to fix that??

I didnt end up getting work done due to the level of car issues (ending up getting rid of it) but the salesman was knowledgeable and very helpful - not just trying to get me t spend money. I would definitely return.

Very nice and honest people. I went to get oil changed and they told me about the coupons available. Professional and know what they are doing, and did not try to find things wrong with my car.
