Relative to other opticians, this one has a decent selection of frames. Prices are high. Service is another issue. Had to deal with a different person each time I go there. Rather annoying to not have the ability to be dealt with by one person who knows what theyre doing. Dr. Naftali told my wife, who is diabetic, that he didnt think she really had type 1 diabetes, which is absurd and not his area of expertise. I asked to come in for a refraction after having had cataract surgery and was told they wouldnt just do that. I had to have a full eye exam. I just had a full eye exam from a surgeon. I also just had surgery four weeks prior and didnt want the young people who do the exams there touching my eyes at all. The attitude of the person I spoke to was rude and belligerent. I had been a customer and patient for five years and did not expect such callous treatment. No longer a customer or a patient.

I am beyond impressed with my experience at Madison Eyes. My first contact was Barbara and I was blown away by how helpful and kind she was answering all my insurance and billing questions. I’ve been seeing Dr. Lacotte for five years and can’t say enough about his care. Although he has a busy practice, I’m always able to schedule an appointment within a few days of calling and my appointments are always on time. The eye exams are very thorough and I always feel very comfortable. I had been hesitant about getting contacts but finally decided I wanted them bad enough. Calli was so patient and helpful and assisted me with my contact fitting for over an hour! She gave me the confidence that I needed to finally become a contact lens wearer and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Madison Eyes-your professionalism is second to none.

I have been seeing Doctor Lacotte, for about 4 years now, my mother in law for about 10 years. He is absolutely fantastic! extremely smart and very detailed when explaining eye exams. However be aware of one of the receptionist by the name of Jocelyn, super unpleasant, rude, has a really bad attitude and not helpful at all. To a certain degree speaks with aggression almost looking for arguments. If you visit Madison eyes, try to be helped with any of its other staff whom are very pleasant and warm. Stay away from Jocelyn!

Bad service! My Daughter and I were unpolitely asked to leave this establishment - after having looked at several styles it was nearing closing and instead of asking nicely, we were asked very rudely "Do you need anything else, were closing?" it wasnt even 6:00 yet and we had only been in the place for approx 20 minutes. I would never go back here or recommend this store to anyone. When most eyeglasses establishments are offering the same basic products / brands, I feel being treated with respect matters!

Im downgrading to 3 stars due to requests for reviews. I got an email asking me to respond to a survey - fine - during which I decline to write a review. Immediately after submitting the survey I get an email asking for a review. So here it is. Office staff is grand, and doctor was nice and competent. Wait time is short. The threatening "make sure you show up to avoid a no-show fee" text and too many requests for reviews are not delightful.

Im a student so my regular eye place is out of state, but Ive gone here several times for getting my glasses tightened or a pair of emergency contact lenses when I ran out and was waiting for mine to come in. The customer service is exceptional. Everyone is so nice and super helpful. If my insurance was accepted there I would deffinatly be a regular!

Went for a medical exam as my left eye went completely blurry. Dr. James Lacotte saw me and tested my eyes throughly and found out a severe case of dry eyes being the cause of the temporary blurriness. He made recommendations and made me feel safe knowing my eyes were perfect. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave is a great experience.

I really am happy with Dr. Naftali who really takes his time to explain anything I need explained and to answer any questions. And they have some new equipment that is amazing. Great staff, awesome Dr.! Found out I actually dont need RX glasses,(another Dr. had prescribed for me Progressives last year, and I really did not need them) just over the counter readers! Glad I went there, really had a great experience.

The most courteous carrying doctor and staff I have ever met. I travel over 65 miles in New York for my visit. They were the first to diagnose my high blood pressure which most likely saved my life since it is considered a silent killer.

Doctors are great staff is not. They just rush you through the process and really dont care to explain clearly what they you to do. Also try sell you everything so guess that part of the idea to oH 700 for frames to be cool.
