I was very disappointed with the quality of the shop work done on my 1967 FLH. I dropped off the heads and cylinders for re-work, left a deposit and then waited two months rather than the two weeks projected. After picking up of the refurbished parts and installing them, and going for a spin, I was not happy with the lack of power and after only 60 miles, the bike was smoked... After pulling the heads, the new front piston (also purchased through Iron Cycles) had a hole in the top. Upon examination of the heads, I noticed that: 1 - The new valves shafts were not tight allowing excessive amounts of oil to pass. Either the valve guides or the head work was sloppy. 2 - The heads and the valves were not seated correctly as noted from the signs of blow by. This was bad workmanship on the heads or faulty valves. Either way they should have picked it up and corrected the work. 3 - There was excessive wear on the rockers. Lord knows what thats about but it was just one more issue. Shame on me trusting the work of this shop, and shame on them for charging me $1800 for poor craftsmanship. I believe there are better shops down the road, so just ride on by.

I am a newer rider and got sick of being nickle and dimed at the dealer every time I needed even a simple oil change. A buddy of mine who has been riding for much longer suggested I take my bike to Iron Cycles when I decided to change my bars. The owner Wally was glad to answer my questions and bullshit with me about some other ideas I had for my bike and gave me good advice regardless of my age and the fact I havent been riding very long (only about a year). The shop was packed with bikes but he got me in and out in a couple days and did excellent work. I will go back for sure and suggest them to anyone who rides a Harley

Be Beware of this GUY calls himself “Willie” His attitude was extremely rude as if he doing me a favors selling me a Harley’s Part. I just wanted to buy a small part for my bike and he gave an attitude the first time. Second time, I went to buy another part he not only was rude he said racists things to me. I would never TRUST this guy with my motorcycle. He dislikes people and he lazy claims he is very busy but he never has any customer, or any help working for him. His SHOP is one man’s SHOW and ONLY for PEOPLE LIKE himself. Good Luck if you visit his shop for repairs cause you gone need it.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Called this place to get a quote on mounting and balancing 2 tires and replacing wheel bearings. Something any bike shop should be able to hammer out in 1 hour... Easy money if you ask me. The "gentleman" on the phone asked me for my bike info. As soon as I mentioned that I was not riding a "Harley", he promptly cut me off and told me that his shop was a "Harley Shop" and hung up the phone.

Wally is the best ! One of the most honest mechanics you will ever meet. Hes worked on my older bike several times and has advised me in what is worth doing and whats not . You can tell by the amount of bikes he has, just how qualified he is. He might get backed up during the season, but he always takes care of me. Would highly recommend him .
