Amazing customer service. I went three times to Cycle Gear and I am a first timer with little knowledge about gear. I brought a friend with me to ensure that I do not get ripped off. There was no need for that. I was taken care of very well by knowledgeable associates, namely Nelson and Jenni. They didnt try to sell me things I dont need, nor did they push items on me. Both took their time to enlighten me about gear, try on different styles and price ranges of gear, and finally let me decide on what I really need/want. The first and second trip I made from NY to Edison was close to closing. Even after the "closing time", they patiently kept the store open until I was finished. Once again, amazing customer service and great prices (did my research). I wont hesitate to go back again.

I just left cycle gear. I wish I got the cashiers name that helped me out. First off, he handled 3 separate transactions all at the same time going from customer to customer. I never felt neglected or over looked. I dont think the others did either. I brought in a chain that snapped on me. I had the chain 3 months. I have used it a max, 3 rides. Its an atv I dont ride often. He checked it out with others and we were all impressed at how it broke being a high end chain. So long story short, I found another on the shelf and he worked his magic and helped me out a huge deal on the new one. 99.9% of the time I have a good experience here. They could use 1 or 2 more employees

The staff, especially Jenny, are just the best. Ive never met employees in any store who are so happy doing what they do and love helping the customer so much. Theyve stayed way after the stores closing times more than once to answer questions and help out in any way. They are very knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of motorcycling, and Jenny can probably outride most people. As far as Cycle Gear itself, great selection and prices. Im just glad that theres an actual physical store near me that I can go and check out gear in person instead of ordering online and praying that it fits right or looks like what I thought it did.

Ive honestly never had such a pleasant experience in a store. I came in sort of late, 7pm closing time in 1 hour. I needed advice on what gear to get for a track day, Jenni was extremely knowledgeable and informative the entire time I was there. AWESOME customer Service. I HIGHLY recommend any rider to go in there and poke around. Im not sure if any of the higher ups at cycle gear read these reviews but if they do, you guys should seriously give this woman a raise, and a promotion. She loves her job. And I ended up spending more money then I ever would have if she wasnt there to guide and assist.

If you need motoX or any type of offroad gear dont bother coming here. Your better off buying online. The prices arent really competitive, but the kicker is the tax. I did have one very bad experience; I bought Fox Comp 5 boots that on the shelf listed for 180 and they rung them up for 195 plus tax. Unfortunately i didnt notice this until i got home some 35 minutes later...However I can not judge the other half of the store which seems to be street gear.

i went into cycle gear for 1 item. Left with a helmet, tools for my bike, gloves, jenni from cycle gear in Edison is the greatest. She showed me all the items on sale that i needed. She took time out of her inventory to help me. She was very knowledgeable of motorcycles. and a item that was not in stock i paid for and it will be delivered when it comes in. Thanks jenni i will defiantly come back and will telll my friends to go see her.

Sales is very friendly, except the used bike section needed a little encouragement to get any information on the bike I was interested in. (Try talking to Valerie) Overall a nice place, got a good deal on a used bike there. Havent used their mechanic services for any work yet, but the bike I bought was said to "go through the shop" first. and everything is ship-shape.

Ive been coming here for years if you know me you know riding is my passion, prices are great , customer service is great - most recent purchases a helmet and rain suit for instructing .. But I would consider it for on the road in the future

Only place I have found in NJ that charges a fair price for tire mount and balance. Also, I got there right before they closed and the guy stayed a couple minutes after closing to finish up my tires.
