I highly recommend You Lucky Dog! Ive taken my toy poodle there twice, and both times incredibly happy with his cut. You can tell they really care about animals, and I especially liked having Alvaro as a groomer! Only con is the prices are a little high, but thats to be expected in Hoboken.

These guys have lots of fun and functional stuff for dogs of all sizes. Their grooming is great. You can drop off the dog and they will call you when the dog is ready.
