I waited over a month, almost 2 for him to "fix" my PlayStation 3. He always had excuses that he was waiting on parts or avoided me and had his mother answer the phone or hid in the back of the store and had his mom come out. When I eventually got it back it wasnt even the same PS3, and it broke within the month and he refused to refund or re-fix it saying it was "fine" when he gave it back and I mustve done something to damage it. He "low-balls" anyone that tries to sell him anything, he laughs and says he has too much of anything (consoles, games, etc...). Half the customers I have seen in his store are young kids walking home from the Garwood school, so he put candy on the counter to lure them in. The guy that "owns" the store hides from customers and lets his mom do the talking, bragaining, negotiations, and refusals because he is afraid of confrontation, always ridiculous excuses for why he cant buy used games or consoles. I offered him a Sega DreamCast and only wanted $8 for it, he said he had too many and didnt need another. I sent a friend in to try and purchase a Sega DreamCast and he said he did not have any but could order one offline (eBay). Literally the same week a few days later just to see if he actually had any. He obviously nickles and dimes everyone and barely has enough money to keep his store afloat, I really wish someone would buy him out and run the store properly. His store is completely unorganized, its dirty and dusty, and you cant find anything you are looking for, unless he pulls out his laptop and searches online... Terrible business, I am not sure why this place still exists or how it exists, I have seen him buying movies (DVDs) on eBay from his Ebay account for children, whether because their parents do not allow them to buy them at home or dont want their children watching certain genres of movies... whatever the case is he has no problem ordering anything online for youngsters that have money... yet Ive even seen customers complaining that theyve been waiting weeks for movies theyve ordered, I do not know why they dont just use their own computers to buy stuff like every other person in the world. I have NEVER had a positive encounter in this store, broken PS3 that was still broke after months of waiting for him to "repair" it and wasted over $100+. He advertises he "fixes" consoles and "buys" games and game systems, yet always has an excuse and a smug smirk on his face why he doesnt need your merchandise, I understand the business aspect but he has always been disrespectful... avoid this store unless you REALLY are looking for an NES game, which you can find on eBay, and he has an eBay store... lucky for him because thats probably about 90% of his business since Ive never seen 1 decent normal human being or person over the age 13 in his store. The store really seems like a "front" for something else, the place is dirty, overpriced on EVERYTHING, and I still dont know why he needs to lure children into the store to buy candy and purchase movies online for them... especially since he is a "vintage/classic" collector of games, and these kids werent even born until after Sega Genesis and PlayStation2 came out. I wish him the best, but still, the candy on the counter is very creepy...

Ive been shopping in Turnabout my whole life; when I found out that an EBgames was opening just around the corner, I was so afraid that they might close up shop. Luckily, theyve stuck around, and dont seem to be going anywhere. Without a doubt, if youre a local in this area and like old/retro games, you need to stop in here. Theres a library of NES, SNES, Dreamcast, N64 and Genesis games and equipment at a very fair price and all in good condition. If theres a problem with a game or device youve bought, you arent out of luck or brushed off like the retailers or EBgames/GameStop chains. They will do everything they can to help you out and keep you coming back. Ed knows how to treat his customers well, is very helpful, knowledgeable and personable, and will try to cut you a deal on their already-cheap prices if possible -- just so you walk out the door satisfied. This isnt just a game store, though; theres a library of cassettes, CDs, records, etc., but a game store thats right down the street from me and offers good service and a selection of old/out-of-print games is what keeps me coming back.

Great service. The staff there was really helpful and also really knowledgeable about their merchandise. Prices are very fair (I got a Genesis + all the cables + a controller) for 40 bucks, plus an additional controller for only 6 more. They also give you a 90 day warranty if anything doesnt work (but trust me these guys take care of their merchandise. The Genesis I bought was clean as a whistle) Their variety is great, and have everything for Atari 2600 all the way to PS2, not to mention old records, CDs, tapes, and all that other stuff. Seriously an amazing store. Would recommend to anyone who just loves video games or music. 11/10
