As I am ready to write this review, I am seeing that this R&F location is horrible across the board according to most other reviews I see here. I ordered several items for my new home totaling 6k+. Was promised delivery at the end of June - there was one item that was a special order, however, that MIGHT take another week to receive but they were pretty confident it would get there in time due to us ordering everything over a month in advance. A couple days before the scheduled delivery, we called to confirm all was still on schedule. The associate, Mike, informed me at that time that my dresser was out of stock and was showing it wouldnt be back in stock until August 15th! Their website wasnt reflecting this information so they clearly learned this at that time...from the phone call I made to them! I called on 7/15 to see what the status was and at that time the customer service rep said it was pushed back to AUGUST 30th! I am just beyond frustrated as R&F has terrible customer service. They do not stay on top of your order and follow up to let you know. I called both times only to find out bad news. They give you the runaround about how they cannot call the manufacturer, etc. I googled this exact dresser by the SKU and found it is in stock at many other furniture companies so why wont they order from there and get it to me ASAP as a way of making up for their terrible customer service so far? I told George, one of the managers, to look into that for me as this is getting out of control. He said five different ways that he doesnt think he can do that. I explained that he needs to talk to whoever is in charge and work to make that happen. At this time I am waiting for his response. Lets hope they do the right thing and get me the dresser ASAP. I will be updating this review to either explain to everyone that this location can turn a bad situation around...or...lets hope its not that they keep telling me there is nothing they can do.... UPDATE as of 8/18: Here is an email I just sent to the RF email they provided. It will give you the jist of how this just keeps getting worse: Hello, I noticed you responded to my review....Please note that I have run into yet another issue that the manager, Kisa, is looking into for me right now. I would appreciate you all crediting me more money - I get that this item has already been discounted but I am going through yet ANOTHER frustrating issue with you all. This piece was finally going to be delivered today.....but the problem is...they said between 1 and 4. It is now 4:42 and we have not received a courtesy call or anything. Kisa couldnt even tell from her end so now I am waiting a phone call back from here with an explanation. I have moved my piles and piles of clothing from the area where I want the dresser placed and onto my bed. I am washing my sheets today so now I have been waiting to put the clean sheets back on as I dont want to have to move all piles onto the floor just to move AGAIN into the dresser. I have plans this evening as its a Friday and now I am extremely inconvenienced for the ---- I dunno -- 10th time due to Raymour & Flanigans awful service. I demand I get this piece for no cost as I feel my numerous frustrations have costed me lots of unnecessary stress AND TIME! I am baffled by the continuous problems.

This place has the best quality furniture but the sales people are relentless. I understand that they work off of a commission, but as a first time home buyer I told them I do not go to settlement for another month and a half, and I do not have measurements for what I need, I was just seeing prices so I know what to expect when I am ready. Much like another person with a horrible experience I was speaking with Ira also. This guy was trying so hard to get me to put down a deposit on something even if I had the slightest feeling that I like it. All I wanted to do was look and be left alone. But instead no matter how many times I said Im just looking for now, Ira followed me the whole time in the showroom and kept explaining to me how the goal is to make me spend over $2000 to get me a bigger discount on friends and family. This dude doesnt know my price range nor does he care. A good salesperson looks out for the best interest of the buyer. Multiple times I also asked Ira if I ordered the furniture early for delivery when I get my place, can I get my money back if the set does not fit or if it does not look as I had imagined. Ira dodged this question every time with his sneaky wording saying how it is no problem it happens all the time and dont worry about that becausethereturn police is great, so I asked again and again and he eventually said they can do a re select (store credit for the amount already put down) but you can not do a full on cash return. I do not appreciate that shady business the answer is yes or no. Long story short, I found more stuff I liked in that store than any other of the 7 places I visited that day, but I have no tolerance for the shady feeling I had walking around their showroom the whole time that Ira was being a creep 20 ft away, and that is what will turn me away from buying at that store.

LIARS! I went in and met with a shady salesman named Ira. This guy lied about everything... the price. He said they do NOT discount. He said that the furniture was EXCLUSIVE to Raymour & Flanigan. He refused to negotiate... He quoted me OVER $10,000 on a set with only 1 night stand... THANK GOD, I wasnt stupid and believed him. I left and did some research. I went to the Raymour & Flanigan in Reading, PA and they without blinking discounted the set $1,500 (without getting the manager involved). I was a little upset that Ira lied, so I called his store and asked for the manager. It turned out to be a woman named Patty. I explained to Patty what went on and she was VERY surprised, she said that was NOT protocol. She said she was very disappointed because sales reps are suppose to get a manager involved with all customers before they leave, she said especially when the furniture is that expensive. She also admitted that THEY DO discount and if it keeps getting kicked up to higher managers, there can be deep discounts. I thought Patty was very nice and almost tried to save the deal BUT... I just found out that the furniture that Ira SWORE was exclusive to Raymour & Flanigan was NOT. We found it at "Best Buy" furniture in Pennsauken NJ and I got quoted the EXACT same set with BOTH end tables for ONLY $7200! (OVER $3000 LESS). Listen, I am a Sales Ninja too. I train Sales Ninjas for a living but I loath LIARS. You do NOT need to lie in sales. So, Public BEWARE of this store AND Ira, the Liar-
