Terrible experience. Stay away unless youre willing to deal with headaches from beginning to end. When i purchased the sofa and love seat, i thought i was getting a great deal then came delivery. I was told they couldnt ship until every 1st and last Thursday of the month to my location. I waited 2 weeks after the purchase date and my stuff arrived at the store on the 1st Thursday. They couldnt schedule me till the product arrived so it was scheduled for the last Thursday of the month. On Monday, the week of delivery, i got a call from ashley to let us know our delivery was set on Wednesday. My wife stated to the scheduler that it must be a mistake because i was told they only delivery 1st and last Thursday. The scheduler reaffirmed us that someone will be at our home on Wednesday. I scheduled myself off that Wednesday to receive the delivery. On Tuesday, my wife calls again to make sure were set for Wednesday. The receptionist looks into the system and apologizes because they made an error. It should have been scheduled Thursday. The receptionist stated that they would call their operations manager to make sure they schedule the delivery around our leisure since they made this error. My wife stated any time after 4pm would be nice. Thursday finally comes and i get a call at 1pm that my furniture will be delivered in 20min. I got mad, i told them that it should have been scheduled after 4pm but they didnt care. They said i had to reschedule. Reschedule and wait another month?! I call my salesman Jeff to find out whats going on. I explain the situation to him and that i was on the verge on canceling the whole order (which i should have done) . He states that theres a restocking free for canceling the order. I stated why am i being charged a fee when you guys made the scheduling mistake and i didnt take delivery? He puts me on hold and clarifies the story and apologizes for the error. He states that they would not charge me a restock fee since ashley made the mistake. I think to myself why didnt Jeff believe me the first time. Anyways, i get a choice to cancel or deliver that Sunday (i had to talk to the manager to get that special delivery date). I chose Sunday and it got delivered but another problem arose. The sofa had a large stain. We refused the sofa to get another. I didnt want to keep it and wait for the exchange because of horror stories stating that they take almost a year, etc. The new sofa arrives at the store Thursday 1st of the month again but i was able to get it scheduled Sunday with Jeff. Finally something thats done right. I was happy because i didnt have to wait another month again. I was told they could come anytime so make sure Im home and theyll call me 1 hour to let me know theyre coming. Saturday i get a robot call saying theyll come anytime 2pm till 6pm. I go out Sunday planning to come home at 1:45pm and i get a call at 12:50pm stating that theyll be theyre in 20 min. I explained that i probably wont get home till 2pm because i was told they would come at that time. The delivery guy said you can reschedule. Again, WTF! They come when they feel like it and give me less than an hour notice. I tell the driver Ill be there ASAP. I call my salesman Jeff and explain then he gets his cleric to call the truck so they can wait for me. While on the phone with them, Im rushing home. A few minutes have past and I get a call from the cleric stating she couldnt get a hold of them. Im thinking ok so how does this help this situation any. I mean she called once and thats it? After explaining how frustrated i am about this whole ordeal the salesman says how rude of me for yelling at his cleric. Why wouldnt i yell? She calls them once then calls me just to tell me she couldnt get a hold of the driver. I mean call them several times, do something. I get home at 1:20pm and no delivery truck. I call the drivers myself and find theyre stuck in traffic. While theyre in traffic Im writing this long review. Finally, drivers come at 2pm. WTF!

I hardly ever post reviews, but I feel like my experience needs to be herd. My boyfriend and I just moved to maple shade from Blackwood. Our old couch was unbearable to sit on. When we moved we decided to get a new one. We googled furniture stores and on our list we went to Mealeys, Macys, and Ashleys. Ashleys was our last stop for no particular reason. We are so glad because it was like we saved the best for last. When we walked in we knew we werent buying at the first visit. This was our first time buying furniture and we didnt want to rush into a poorly made couch. We did research on how to buy a couch. This was an investment for us, and with our growing family we needed something that would last. Upon entering the gallery we were overwhelmed because the gallery was so big. Right as we were about to leave Jan came up to us and asked if we needed help. With some hesitation we said yes. We knew we didnt want to buy right away, and we didnt want to be heckled into a purchase. We told Jan our story and our preferences. Jan was extremely conscious about the whole store. She sifted through all the junk and brought us to different couches in the store. The whole time she was nice, informative, caring, and understanding. She didnt pressure us into a decision. She even shared stories of her personal experiences in couch buying and some family stories. This was our first couch buying experience and it was the best experience because of Jan. We found a couch we absolutely LOVE because of her. We loved our experience so much we went back and bought a much needed coffee table. Thank you Jan!! #Janforpresident

The only reason that I gave a 1 is because there is no way to give a zero or negative 100. Bought a sectional family room set and salesman Eric did not complete the correct order form resulting in the incorrect sectional style be delivered. Called the Cherry Hill store explaining that we received the incorrect set only to be told that the set we received is exactly what we wanted. Never did we look at this set when in the store. Fast forward to numerous calls not being answered or to be hung up on countless times. When we were finally able to get a manager to speak with us, he was also completely useless. Finally we were told via a receptionist that manager John stated the he would replace what we originally thought we ordered at no cost. Move forward several weeks, replacement set still not delivered. Called the store and other manager Avery informed us that we would need to pay several hundred dollars to receive to correct set. Eric, John, and Avery continue to state that we received the correct sectional set. This is complete outright lie and a cover up for their mistake. John even goes as far as saying that he didnt authorize the replacement set even though I have a confirmation number. I never seen such poor customer service and lack of managerial skills. This is the first time that I have ever taken the time to write a negative post about a vendor. Please be aware of what you may go through with these unprofessional salesman. For these individuals, the customer is not right and customer service is nonexistent.
