Ive noticed over the last year or so that, as opposed to just "stewing", Ive actually been taking more time to actively react to some "less-than-good" experiences that Ive had as a customer with my favorite hotel, airline, convenience store, lawn service, contractor and even surf shop! To my surprise, my "reactions" elicited super-positive feedback from all of the above. I found out that these folks were all really interested in my take on things as a customer and, in many cases, my feedback helped them identify/confirm some pretty significant areas for improvement. They got something, and it felt much better than having not sat by, just being frustrated to no real effect........so now Ive been thinking, thanks to some advice from my wife; that I shouldnt reserve my new found energy for complaints alone, but rather to point out "bright spots" and positive experiences too.......with this sensibility in mind, having just been to Cherry Hill Volvo service, again (because we have had 2 Volvos in our house for the last 10 years), I feel compelled to point out how much I appreciate the relationship that we have and how well served I feel as a customer at Cherry Hill Volvo. Please dont think for a minute that I relish spending untold amounts of time and money on our cars, I dont but I accept this as a fact of life. I have to say though, that I not only dont mind going to Cherry Hill Volvo, I enjoy it in a sort of weird and really nice way. Its more than just the fact that everyone has taken the time to know my name, its more than the smiles and easy greetings that Im sure to get every time Im in the place, its more than how well kept and clean everything is, its more than the complimentary coffee, its more than just the fact that the Service Team seems to be willing to drop everything for me when Ive got any type of issue/emergency, its more than the advice and counsel that I get about what I should be doing to address an issue with my car in the smartest most cost effective way ......I think ultimately its about the trust that I have for whats being done on my behalf. Ive seen the staff at Cherry Hill Volvo be transparent and responsive to my requests and concerns consistently and in a way that absolutely has earned my trust and keeps me/us coming back ....and probably will have an impact on what kind of car I buy when that time comes again......

There is another review on here that speaks to this places dishonesty and now I can confirm that. I went all the way to speaking to General Manager (Denis) and he also proved that this place has no morality and any kind of standard for doing business. The parts department sent me parts that would not fit the vehicle I was working on, after sending them pictures of the differences parts manager called me and told me I could bring the parts back but as far as the refund goes, we would have to wait for my check to clear, since it was deposited already ($2300). Thinking I was dealing with a reputable business, I did not put a stop payment on that check and just waited for a refund. It never came. I called to ask what was going on and the parts manager told me I would not be getting one because their policy is no returns for electronic parts. I tried to explain that the return policy does not apply for WRONG parts but he would not budge. I, then, spoke to the general manager and tried to explain the situation. He listened, said he would look into it and would call me back. I told him I did not want to go to court but I also dont want to loose my $2300. He called me back today, informing me there is nothing he is going to do about this and as far as court goes, I should do what I have to do. Immagine going to this place to look at car in a certain trim and with certain options, agreeing on the price, doing the paperwork and when you come out they are giving you the keys to a base model, not what you took for a test drive. You will try to "return" the car, BUT, the policy states no returns on cars. They sold me parts that were wrong, may be boxed wrong, may be catalogued wrong, but the bottom line is they are WRONG. They cashed my check knowing I would not be getting my refund. This has to be the worst business I have ever had to deal with. PS. Contacting VOLVO of america did nothing. I was just told that their dealers are independently owned and pretty much can do whatever they want. Another horrible way of doing business.

Im a former employee, sales department and I strongly discourage anyone to work for this company in the sales department due to unfair pays. I sold a car and they never paid me my commission!! On top of it all, I tried to contact Judith (owner) about this matter and she is still avoiding responding to any of my emails. How unprofessional. Being Swedish (I take a lot of pride in VOLVO) I strongly advice everyone to not do any business here, this is a very disloyal and dishonest dealership that doesnt take well care of employees nor clients. Ive seen Judith run and hide when people and even her own boss comes to visit to avoid confrontations which is HER JOB so no, I wont feel bad because she is suppose to help but she takes no responsibility! If I could I would give 0 stars because of her actions alone!! There are many amazing people working there dont get me wrong but Judith who is the owner is no one you would want to do business with........ Im doing you a favor for sharing this information and obviously I can put my name on it so you know its real! Shame on you J!!!

My father owns a Volvo and this is my second experience in dealing with this dealership. He lives in New Jersey and I live in New York so I am not able to be with my father when he needs to have his car serviced. There is always a lot of anxiety because I am concerned with him being taken advantaged of. However, both times my 87 year old father had his Volvo serviced at this dealership, they took very good care of him. Everyone was very accommodating, understanding, and professional. Since I can only speak about the service department,. I must say that Raymond always goes above and beyond to help my father resolve any issues he may have with his car. If I lived in New Jersey, I most definitely would purchase a Volvo from this dealership because they do care about making their customer happy at every age!!! Thank you Raymond and Cherry Hill Volvo!

It seems like no one in service has any idea what is going on at all. Had my car towed in for a coolant leak and left a very detailed message describing the issue to my client advisor. Didnt get a phone call the following day so I called at around 10 am to follow up and they never even got my message. I had to call every time to get any sort of an update on my vehicle. Was never offered a shuttle or a loaner vehicle at all, I had to convince them to have a shuttle come pick me up. The whole process seemed very rushed and haphazard to me. I wish I could say something good about this transaction because I like my client advisor but I really cant. Not taking my car here ever again.
