"umm were in a sketchy spot legally we arent allowed to send bikes out of the street that arent rideable"- said by Forrest I was a walk in, on a Monday morning, I wanted to replace my bycycle breaks... They told me 10 for parts 10 for labor Wich I thought was kind of high... After an hour and a half of leaving my bike with them, they called me and told me I needed to replace the chain, or buy a new tire for about 25 dollars...or my bycycle breaks wouldnt work properly...I asked how much would it cost me to cancel the order they answered 15 dollars....I wasnt about to pay like 15 bucks just to be told my bike is broken...Wich is why it was in a repair shop in the first place...i knew that already...and they waited an hour and a half... to call and tell me they cant do... what I paid them to do... without charging me an additional 20 dollars in parts and more in labor...THIS WHERE IT GETS REAL SKETCHY I said Im probably gonna cancel the order and they responded, "umm were in a sketchy spot legally we arent really allowed to send bikes out of the street that arent rideable" So I returned with my phone in my hand recording the conversations I had with people talked to the laborer, talked to the person I talked to on the phone asking a bunch of questions...and eventually they figured out what I was doing and let me go "free of charge" bur after they take their parts off Still havent gotten my breaks fixed

Went in there for the first time yesterday looking for a replacement spoke just because it was the closest to my job, and I was on lunch. Walked in with my helmet and gloves on obviously needing some kind of service. Not only did they not acknowledge me when I walked in, but continued to ignore me. There were three employees present. Two sales guys were helping a couple that was looking a bike. The mechanic was shooting the breeze the entire time with guy behind the counter. After a few minutes I stood front and center at the counter. All three guys walked by me at some point and none of them even took a second to say a word or something like "Be with you in a minute." After at least ten minutes I finally left, rode down Virginia a few blocks and was promptly served at Great Basin Bicycles. That’s where I will go from now on… I have worked many customer service jobs, and thats just inexcusable. There are far too many bike shops in this town to be snobby and ignore a potential customer!

Best bike shop! I got a raw deal from another shop in town who fit me on the wrong size road bike. The bike was a Trek Madone 4.5, so not cheap. That shop was not willing to fix their error and tried to up charge me $300 over retail for a Trek Silque SLX. I went into Sierra Cyclesmith looking to buy the Trek Silque SLX. They had the correct size bike for me in stock, switched my pedals, etc. over from my Madone right away, helped me with financing, set up the Silque SLX to a proper fit and did not try to screw me on the price. The owner spent a considerable amount of time with me to ensure proper fit and comfort, and since Im a new rider, he offered great bike handling advice!! This is and will always be my bike shop!!

I have been in this shop many times over the years and purchased several bikes. Always good service and great bikes. The owner is always willing to spend time with you and has given me great deals on the bikes. I have shopped around enough to make sure I was doing due diligence, but never found better.

I came to the place with an old road bike that needed new cables and housing. They got it all fixed up, charged me a very competitive price and gave me a lesson on how to do it myself in the future. I recommend Sierra Cyclesmith. Great experience!!!

I just dropped in with the kid after he picked up a goat head on our ride... They were super helpful and very reasonable. They did a quick tune up on my bike while we were there as well. Im totally happy with the level of service we got.

Only bike shop in town that would help me change my wheelchair tires. Very difficult for as a parapeligic. Location is far from my house, and prices a little high for the change, but like I said, the "only" bike shop that would help!
