I needed a new chain but wasnt sure what size I needed for my bike. Spoke with Nick and told him I had a single speed Cruiser style bike. They had a similar style on the sales floor so I said like that one. The one he gave me was for a freestyle BMX bike so it was too small. I thought oh well, we all make mistakes, I will just exchange it for the proper size one. I returned to the store to exchange it ( 30 min after original purchase ). Nicks shift was over and there was a female there so I explained to her that Nick accidentally gave me the wrong size chain so I just need to exchange it for the proper size. She said sorry but no returns or exchanges. Could not believe that they would not give me the correct size when it was there fault they gave me the wrong one the first time. So she called the owner and asked if she could do anything for me. The owner said he could charge me a $15.00 restocking fee for the $30.00 chain then charge me $15.00 for the correct chain. The chain I needed costs $15.00. Bottom line is I had to pay $30.00 for a 15.00 chain because the salesman accidentally gave me the wrong chain the first time. I love to support my local businesses but this owners idea of customer service is unacceptable. I dont think their doors will be open much longer.

Horrible service I would recommend no one to go into this place, I brought a wheel bend to fix,they did not a good job. They told me that it was the tire I change It for a different , and the problem continues... the first day they say that it will be perfect,when the job was " done " they say that it will be imposible to make it perfect.. All I wanted the wheel to be straight , nothing wrong with the discs there is no more issues.. I can prove that.. I took it to a different place they doble check and it is the wheel that did not get well done.. sorry but there is no experience on bikes repair in your shop.. Thank you any ways for the incomplete job.. by the way I asume i dont have experience on bikes, I wonder why you did not use the thing to doble check the wheel? you use your finger to show me it was straight

Ive known Chuck for over 6 years and he runs a good shop. I have a wheel set with Chris King hubs he built that are at least 6,000 miles on them and theyre as true as the day he finished them. Chuck is a businessman and is there to make money but I recall once when Chuck did some small job for me and I tried to pay him he simply refused to take it saying hed see business from me down the road/ I do virtually all my own work now and am building my new bike up this morning. Im going by his shop when they open to get some spacers and bar tape. For Oxnard I prefer his shop to REI or Performance because in Oxnard they all have about the same stuff, but in his shop they have Chuck.

Ive been doing business with Bicycles at Seabridge as well as the Bicycle shop for over 3 years and had service done in both stores. I have purchased multiple Specialized bikes from them and have not once had any problems with the quality and customer service at any of the above stores. They are busy shops who service many commuters and really cater to a wide range of cyclists in the area, not just performance oriented parts and bikes. I did purchase my first high end bicycle frame from them not too long ago and it was delivered quick and came in when they said it would. Really happy with them and cant wait to build it up!

Have been trying to get in touch with the owner but the guy who is obviously the ploblem keeps telling me he isnt in. This could be true but after my experience with him it is more likely he doesnt want to get into trouble. I could be wrong but without being able to speak with the owner I will never know. Stay away. He just hangs out with his friends and when a real customer comes in he doesnt even bother to acknowedge them. Very poor cusomer service. I was even recomended by another shop. I guess he didnt kjow about this guy. Go where the customer is important and that is not here. Have a nice day. Sincerely, John Wise

I purchased some disc brake pads for my Specialized Hardrock from Brandon there. He greated me as soon as I walked in and made me feel welcome. He quickly found the part I needed and looked at my pads to let me know how much life was still left on those. We ordered them and about 4 days later they came in. I received a phone call to let me know they had come in. Great service and very professional. We talked about biking in general, tires, skewers and he obviously has enthusiasm for biking. Great expereince in a really nice location near the water.

this will be in two parts, 1st. part, call number, no answer, l go on Web site hours and it say open sunday, 11 to 3. get there at 11, stand around in the hot sun till 11:30 and left. so my first impression isnt good, says there open today monday, 10 to 6. Ill be there at 10,
