2015 update Purchased a 2013 Ninja 636 from the dealership not to long ago. This will be the third bike Ive purchased from them, and as with the first two, they provided excellent sales & service. They remembered me even though I had not been in the dealership for almost a year. I greatly appreciate the team at Kawasaki Yamaha of Reno, and will continue to provide them with my business, and refer my friends & family. -------- Previous Purchase(s) Purchased 2 bikes from Kawasaki of Reno on separate dates. I was very happy with the process which did not stop at the bike purchases for me, I continued with some gear purchases as well, on separate dates, primarily because I was so happy with the bike purchases. Each experience with the dealership, and staff was great from bike sales, to parts, to delivery. I look forward to bringing the bikes back to the dealer for service, as well as utilizing the dealer for future purchases/service. I can not honestly think of anything I have not appreciated, or enjoyed as of yet. I will right a follow-up review down the road once I service the bikes, etc. Thanks Kawasaki of Reno -- Thank you Charissa, John, and Troy for your exceptional customer serivice, and honesty.

“Im an old retired guy and one that is very hard to please, especially when buying an expensive toy like a new motorcycle. If it doesnt come in the crate, I move on to another store. John took the time to work with me and we finally found a new crate ZX14R in California. One week later Im in the saddle. I was even given permission to watch Brad the set up tech assemble what was needed out of the crate. Brad, by the way, is a very experienced set up guy and I was very comfortable watching him do his magic. John, James, Brad, Mackenzie and the rest of the guys in the shop made me feel right at home and were eager to answer all my questions. Personally, Ill never consider buying anywhere else! ”

I recently just purchased a 1999 Kawasaki ZRX 1100 off of Craigslist, as with any used bike it needed some odds and ends, so I headed down to Kawasaki of Reno to order a few parts. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, my parts came quickly, were priced very well , and were correct the first time. I have been back a couple of times since for various items and each time they have treated me like a long time customer, giving me generous discounts and quality service. I have been riding motorcycles and working on them for almost 40 years and this is one of the best shops I have dealt with, I look forward to dealing with them again.

Im not necessarily a good judge of off-road vehicles, but Im learning. This shop squeezes in a lot of models which suggests a pretty good selection. We discussed there being only 3 quad models. Including the kiddie version. It still looked like fun. But there seems to be a trend towards side by side and there are different designs and configurations to meet your needs. Colors too! Super friendly and helpful staff. We wound up going with buying a used 4WD truck, but if we decide to get an offroader, we will be back to talk to them.

Clean facility. Very knowledgeable, polite and passionate staff. No BS from them and no negative comments regarding other brands or products. They are focused on their product and stand behind it. They work hard to meet your needs and listen to your thoughts, desires and concerns as a customer. They help you feel confident in your decision and work with you instead of working for themselves. It was the best expensive buying experience I have had to date. I would highly recommend. Thanks.

I would rate zero stars but its not a choice. Bad company, real chiselers and will gouge you or steal from you any chance they get. They padd the bill. check to see if they even replaced the part, for me 3 of them they did not. On my Mule repair they did work that I did not approve of and charged me for it when I did not ask it to be done. if you need Kawasaki work done go to Michaels Cycle Works in Carson or their shop in Reno. They have a larger selection and honest people!

I took my first bike to these guys and they helped me with prompt service. 2013 Kawasaki ninja ex650. The moment I arrived they took my bike in, inspected it and did the oil also. Well mannered I must say and also took me to the back to show me certain parts that will need to be replaced soon, also told me what they were and how to install them myself. Gotta say I really enjoyed being there and am coming back to purchase a few more items to install.

I discovered the fuel cap on my 2007 Kawasaki Trans Mule had cracked two days before leaving on a week long off road trip. Went to Kawasaki of Reno to get a replacement. The cap was not in stock, so the parts guy asked the manager if he could give me one from a floor model. Without hesitation the answer was "yes", I paid for a cap and I was on my way with a Thank you! Now THAT is customer service.

I have bought several bikes and other toys here. Chris is very knowledgeable and easy to work with as well as on the eyes. The parts guys are eager to help. The service department has really stepped it up in the last couple of years and always seems to get it right at a fair price. SHOP WORKS ON ALL YAMAHAS NOW and have much better service than Michaels!!!

James Griffith handled the sale of my new Kawasaki STX-15F Jet Ski. His knowledge and genuine concern that I had the right machine was superior! The time he took to show me all the features of my watercraft was outstanding! He knows the products and his expertise was evident at every turn! Thanks James for making my Kawasaki experience a great one!!!

Totally focused on selling new power sports equipment. Service desk punks seemed rude and about as knowledgeable as a 22 year old punk can be. Dont go there looking for parts because they dont stock them. Everything must be ordered from Sacramento. You can drive to Sacramento quicker yourself and get the parts without the markup for the rude service

“John and James III provide the best customer service. They treated me like I was their family. My first purchase was from James II the original in 1999 when he was on Mill Street and the service has definitely carried over to his family. Thank you John, James III, and James II and I can not forget Miss McKenzie for excellent customer service.”

I attempted to purchase a wave runner from this dealer. We struck a deal over the phone. Within 45 minutes they sell both wave runners to another buyer. We were going to pick up the wave runner the next morning and they failed to keep the deal and sell us the wave runner. I have had very poor experiences with this dealer.

The best customer service is received at any bike shop. Ended up buying the KLR 650 instead of the Honda just because John and James were so helpful and knowledgeable. Service was great too. Just had some crash bars and skid plate installed.

The whole team worked great to get us what we wanted. I cant say a bad word about the whole experience. We got a kx250F for my son for his birthday and every one helped us to make it a great birthday for him. Thanks to all of you. ”
