I bought 8 gallons of off-white flat paint as I am trying to sell my house and need to paint several rooms. I put one coat on in the Master Bedroom and went to put on a second coat the next day. The color didnt match initially, but I thought they would after the second coat dried. The next day, it was obvious that they didnt match, so I took the remaining paint back to the store. The woman at the paint counter identified that several gallons had different bases. The clerk who helped me before had gotten the paint off the shelf, so this wasnt my fault. They knew I wanted the same color. Although they replaced the paint with the wrong bases, I was still out a gallon after putting on the second coat of the wrong color. I tried to explain this, but the woman at the counter wasnt having it. She said there wasnt much paint taken from the first can (it was at about half). Regardless, I think they should have either replaced or reimbursed me for the first coat I have to redo.

Purchased a new patio set at this store. The chairs for it were already put together because we had to take the ones on the floor. My daughter and I were struggling trying to manage the cart that had the table part in a box on it, and 2 of the chairs on top of that. My daughter had one chair, and we both tried to carry the 4th. There was a lady and a man standing at the exit door (employees) watching us struggle. Didnt seem to bother them at all. Once we had everything almost loaded, another employee came out to see if we needed any help. I told him just to take the cart back, we already managed it. Never going back to this one again. Thought I was at Home Depot because of the poor service.

Employees need to get their heads out of their butts and learn whats in the store. I asked one employee about a certain broom and he said he never heard of it and they dont have it, I happen to turn my head and ta da its sitting right there on the shelf. It was the Fuller Spin broom. Then I asked another employee about Idust and she said she doesnt know what it is and walked away...third employee pointed me out to some where in the store instead of walking me to the isle. Lazy and uneducational about products in the store!!!

Unbelievable service! Menards in Bellevue has some of the most dedicated employees! I was pleased with my last visit, as my grandfather is a world war 2 vet and we both were checked out by a cashier that showed an exceptional respect and service. The gentleman by the name Jose was more than willing to show me his name. He checked me and my grandfather out and thanked my grandfather for his service in World War Two making my grandfather tell me later he hasnt been thanked in years! Tears to my eyes!! :)

Went to in the store at about 4:30 today. Asked for 16gauged wire at customer service when I came in. One cashier straight up told me he didnt know and walked away and the other just laughed and suggested the middle of the store. Very rude... Spent 20mind looking around till someone actually was able to help. I felt like those men didnt want to help me being a young black women. Will never be going back to that store again!

Very easy to get to, especially if youre coming from Highway 75. The selection for most things Ive gone in for is usually broad enough I have a choice. For me, this one is closer than either Lowes or Home Depot and about a toss-up to the Ace Hardware - Menards wins because of the ease to drive to every time.

Cashier was pleasant. Had what I was looking for. Lumber desk staff acted irritated that they had to punch in my $1,000.00 order. Yard gate was understaffed, 4 waiting to come in , 7 waiting to leave. Yard was a mess, as well as litter all over the parking lot.

Youre on your own. Clerks dont ask if they can help you, which is fine, because they dont know anything. It can be hard to find things with that and having so much nonhardware. Lowest prices anywhere. Whos getting screwed?

Go to Home Depot or Lowes. Avoid buying shotty tools and/or materials. I could go on a word rampage here, but I have said what needs to be said. I agree that assistance is nowhere to be found as well.
