This company has by far been the worst I have seen in this valley. They did the electrical work on an addition to our building about 18 months ago and had to come back because our lights went out. It took them 3 days just to show up and another 3 to get the job done because they would only send one person out so our showroom was left in the dark for a week. The reason they had to come back was because the poor work they did nearly burned down the building. The wiring they did for our light switches also had to be redone so they ran conduit on the outside of the wall and left a mess cut out around the box . Weve also been waiting for them to come back and fix the holes in the ceiling they left when they first cut the wrong holes for all our light fixtures so weve had to deal with raining insulation the last 18 months. We cant even get them to call us back in regards to fixing their ceiling holes they made. I would highly recommend finding another electric company for any serious job.

We called Tyler Electric for the simple task of replacing a wall receptacle and dryer cable, assuming the cost shouldnt be much more than $20 for parts and $50 for labor. Our mistake was not obtaining a quote beforehand. Tyler Electric billed us $170 for the visit; something that I could have completed myself in under an hour. Next time Ill be sure to ask for a quote upfront, or just do these simple tasks myself. Tyler Electric did complete the work, and they did do it in a timely manner. However, the cost was a bit outrageous. I would only recommend these guys if you know their cost upfront and are okay with it.
