A little frustrated with Walgreens pharmacy. First, I went into the store two weeks ago to get a prescription filled and walked around until it was ready. Later that day, I receive a text saying my prescription is ready. No kidding...I just got it. The next day I get phone messages about picking up a prescription. Now Im thinking its a different one that was automatically refilled, so I called to find out. The guy told me the name, and it was the prescription I had already picked up and requested when I was at the store. He kindly said he would cancel it which was appreciated. However, the messages continued. I called this Thursday morning to get a prescription refilled. The guy I spoke to said it was already refilled and waiting for me to pick up. So...I go there after work, and Im told they never received a call about it being refilled. The lady said she could refill it for me if I wanted to come back, but then I get told that my insurance started over, and they need prior authorization to fill it. So...they fax paperwork to my doctor. I called my doctor Friday morning and was told that the paperwork was sent back and my prescription should be $4. I call Walgreens to be sure, and the automated system says its not ready. Later that day, I receive a text saying my prescription is ready. I go to pick it up, and AGAIN something is wrong. I leave AGAIN and go back a few hours later and end up being told a different amount. I am also told to go home and check my messages because one of the pharmacist called to explain the problem. Sorry, but I only have my cell phone and I never received a call or message. I ended up paying the higher amount because I am so frustrated that if I stayed any longer, I might have screamed at someone.
