MISLEADING, BAIT AND SWITCH COMES TO MIND. Went to Weekends Only recently to shop for a mattress and box spring. Ended up settling on a nice pillow top set that they had displayed on the showroom floor. The Mattress set in question had a metal box spring (Which was one of our main criteria in selecting this set). We spoke briefly with a sales rep and he wrote the order up. I paid for the set and pulled around back and loaded the mattress in the SUV and tied the box spring to the roof of my vehicle. After tying the box spring to the roof, I realizaed that the box spring they gave me was not what was represented on the showroom floor. In fact instead of the metal box spring that I had agreed to along with the mattress, they had given us a wood and cardboard Platform, although annoyed by the fact that I had already invested the time and energy into tying the platform to the roof, I was sure that they had made a mistake and would make it right. Unfortunanlty that was not the case. They informed me that the platform I had received was the only kind the carried (THEY DO NOT SELL METAL SPRING BOX SPRINGS, ALTHOUGH THAT IS WHAT THEY DISPLAY ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR AND WHAT I WAS TOLD I WAS PURCHASING.) The Manager went on to tell me that they use the metal box springs on the showroom because of so many people testing out the beds. I explained that I had checked the set over, told my sales person that this is the set I would like to purchase and not a word was mentioned that I would not be getting the same thing that was represented in the floor model. (BAIT AND SWITCH). Weekends Only has a Zero return policy on mattresses and I was just lucky to have double checked the platform before leaving the parking lot. They did nothing to try to save the sale aside from trying to talk up the wood and cardboard platform and the fact that it is "Kiln Dried" (Which means nothing since, any 2x4 youll find is also "Kiln Dried"), No apologies for misleading a customer and wasting my time and energy. No attempts to rectify the situation. Ive purchased things from them in the past, but after that experience they have lost a customer. I JUST WONDER HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN MISLED BY THIS TACTIC. I explained to the manager that this situation amounted to a bait and switch similar to if someone saw a car on the showroom floor full of options and agreed to buy it, then when they bring the car around after you signed for it, its the base model with none of the options you thought you were buying. Needless to say it was obvious that the did not care how I felt. I had to asked them blatantly to Refund my money after they refused to even acknowledge that this was a deceptive practice. BAIT AND SWITCH. IF YOU BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU BETTER VERIFY BEFORE TAKING DELIVERY THAT YOU ARE GETTING WHAT YOU PAID FOR.

Weekends Only is an okay place to buy from. The sales people I encountered were nice but my dissatisfaction comes from the delivery. Im not sure if they are always late with their deliveries but I was giving a 3 hour window in which I was supposed to be home to ensure delivery or I would encounter restocking fees. However, the deliver people showed up 40 mins after the 3 hour window ended and that is unfair to customers. If customers encounter fees for inconveniencing Weekends Only then delivery fees should be reimbursed for any lateness and inconvenience Weekends Only cause to their customers during this process. Your customers time is just as valuable as your employees. In addition, the delivery personnel were highly unprofessional. They must have been under the impression that they were delivering a bed to someone that lives on the 1st floor or lives in a building that has elevator. When I had them pull around to the back of my building, and stepped outside to open the door for them, I could hear one of the guys cussing and complaining about carrying the items to my condo because I live on the 3rd floor. While I was waiting, I also heard them call Weekends Only asking what is the maximum amount of stairs they can climb. I found this to be highly unprofessional and extremely offensive along with the cussing and complaining. And to top it off, one of the delivery guys were carelessly handling the items, knocked one of my medium size elephants I got from South Africa to the floor and broke it nor did he apologize for it. So to sum this up, although I like my bed, the tardiness with my delivery, along with the delivery guys complaining and breaking my elephant in the process of setting up my bed is why Weekends Only gets 2 stars from me. That service was not a $99 quality they charge to deliver. I would suggest they have a talk with their employees about professionalism and also begin notifying their delivery personnel with addition information about what floor the customer lives on that they are delivering items to.

Terrible. Worst customer service ever, only to be eclipsed by the fact that our delivery was setup to go to the wrong address. After specifically asking the woman (repeatedly) if she needed to update the address in their system after supplying the new one! I then call them after the automated call says its being delivered to the wrong address and let them know that the address is not correct, and they state that because its in a different area the delivery time will now change. The staff is rude and uninvolved (talked to multiple people) and unwilling to help. We stood around on a slow Sunday night, and no one ever asked if we needed help, and we had to go up to them to ask for it. Staff would walk off and not come back. Also had to wait over 30 mins for a rug to be pulled off the rack when there were plenty of staff standing around joking and playing around. We also had staff walk off on us and not come back. Some of the furniture was falling apart on the showroom floor. Just a complete dump. Avoid the hassle and junk furniture. Avoid at all costs. ***** Edited on 2/21/17 - So they delivered the funiture, and it was missing pieces. They gave us a phone number to call and have them sent. So now our 5 and 6 year old have to sleep on the floor in our new house until they can send it out. UNBELIEVABLE! I cant say enough bad things about this experience in this single review. From the looks of it, others have reported missing items as well.

If I could give a zero star I would , My experience has been terrible thus far . I purchased a new hutch on 7/30 from this location and was told that the shipping to the warehouse on the following weekend I could pick it up. Okay no problem I drive from my home go pick it up sit for a half hour before someone telling me that the shipment was not there that I can come back the following week and they promise it would be there . Again Yesterday drive again to the warehouse sit for over a hour and a half go to the front only to be told oh Im sorry its not at this location it got transferred to the store you bought it from .. Mind you I had my 18 month baby and my 7 year old son in the vehicle waiting this whole time for our stuff and yet again to be let down! This is two trips to get the furniture we bought from your company to be told this YES I was very unhappy at this point I kept my composure and just left. I live 30 miles away so lets just say I had plenty of time to vent in the vehicle and call mid rivers to rewind the sale . I am in customer service and this is very unprofessional . I will no longer shop with your company ever again and I have spent several thousand buying stuff from there but from here on I will take my business elsewhere.
