The Ashley Furniture store in Florissant, Mo is ONLY receiving one star because I cant rate as a zero or negative. So heres why....not only do they AND the company they contract with for service have the worst customer service Ive ever encountered from a company, but their furniture is made from the cheapest products, and the quality is minimal. In 2012 I purchased a dining room set - after having the service company in my house two or more times a month to repair, the store agreed to give me a credit to apply towards another set. Trust me, I wish that I never purchased anything from to begin with or that they had just given me my money back. Unfortunately, I agreed after months of conversations to receive a credit to apply towards another purchase. In 2014 I made that purchase and used my credit (mind you money I already paid) towards another more expensive set that the store manager ASSURED me was better quality. 7 months later after numerous service calls, I had a tech tell me that it would be best to just replace it all - that the craftsmanship was bad. Well, the service company said it was Ashleys responsibility to replace and Ashelys said it was the service companies responsibility. I have been making bi-weekly calls since January of 2015 to get this resolved..... Thats right SIX months. Finally a few weeks ago the NEW store manager in the Florissant store (Casey brown) agreed to give me all my money back except for $400. AND said he would work to get my furniture either replaced or repaired. Now he is recanting. Saying that I should not get the money from the original purchase - that it was a credit. After two one hour conversations, he stuck with the (crazy) logic that Im not owed this money since it was a credit. Mind you, a credit I was given because I paid that money originally. Today I asked Casey to give me the name and number of his boss - he claims he now doesnt have the authority to give me the money he already promised me and that he assured me would be paid to me (this was on 6/12/15). Well, he refused to give me the info for his boss because he wanted to "warn" him of my call - in other words he wanted to get to him before I can. Now of course I cannot contact Ashley corporate until Monday. Please, if youre reading this and havent purchased from them - please dont!!! The furniture is lousy but more importantly, their customer service is worse and they wont do anything to correct it.

I live close to this location and have driven by often, and had honestly never thought to stop in. After 2 visits to Carol House (where we already had an account - we bought our bed there), my husband and I couldnt find a set of living room furniture that we loved. I went in alone on a whim and within half an hour found a set that was perfect (and when I say perfect - I mean this set is so comfy you dont want to get off it like EVER), and even a couple runner ups that would have been great alternatives. And to my surprise this set that I loved was actually within our budget. Even their bedroom furniture selections had me wishing I would have looked here before buying our bed at Carol House 6 months ago. That aside, my customer service experience here was absolutely awesome. The sales staff were super down to earth and friendly. When I came in I was greeted by Jeremy. He was knowledgeable and down to earth, and shopping with him was like shopping with a friend - very comfortable, easy and helpful. He even has a genuine sense of humor without being "salesman cheesy". He and his manager, Angelo, were very helpful with making sure I understood all my financing options, and friendly without being over bearing to "make a sale". Jeremy and Angelo were great in explaining what the furniture protection plan included, which I didnt plan on purchasing - but it covers just about anything that could ever happen to the furniture - and I have kids and pets. This makes me feel so much better about pulling the trigger on a nicer set for our family. Angelo even showed me pictures of his three kids and their home where they had the exact living room furniture I had picked out. When I had additional financing questions, Jeremy and Angelo took me to meet Susie, where she further explained the financing details so I would know exactly what my monthly payment would be. She was very knowledgeable and knew details without having to look things up. All of these staff members worked with me even after the store had closed, all with patience and smiles and friendly demeanor, to make sure I left with what I wanted and how I needed it to be financially. I was super happy and excited to go home and show my husband and son what is coming to our home soon, and at AMAZING financing options (0% interest for 72 months). This will absolutely be my Go-To furniture store from now on!

My elderly mother ordered a sectional sofa and a chair in June 2015. The sectional had scratches on it when it was delivered. My mother was told by the delivery team to call Ashely Furniture about the damage. She was given the corporate office number to call. She called corporate, they in turn and scheduled a technician to come out. However, return policies differ from store to store and this store says they do not take the furniture back and refused to negotiate any pricing on the damaged furniture. The Ashely representatives told us that according to the paperwork, once furniture is delivered and you sign the paperwork for it, it becomes your furniture and essentially your problem. Buyer beware, make sure you inspect every inch of your furniture at delivery time and dont sign the paperwork if you see any scratches or form of damage. They clearly took advantage of my 72 year old mother. Again, Buyer BEWARE of Ashely Furniture! UPDATE July 27, 2015: This store is trying to bully my elderly sick mother into accepting the damage furniture they delivered or accept an exchange for the same type of poor quality Durablend leather sectional. I was told by a store employee that if we did not accept they exchange for the damaged furniture they want us to take then we could just keep the damaged furniture we have. The kicker is, it was damaged by Ashleys contracted delivery company.

My experience at Ashley Furniture was second to none! This truly was the most pleasurable experience Ive ever had buying furniture. No hassle whatsovever! My experience started over the phone with a lovely representative named Dora, who was very knowledgable about the products and services offered, so when came into the store I had very minimal questions. When I got to the store, I was assisted by a wonderful gentleman named Dan who was the perfect host...he wasnt to clingy but he was right there if I needed anything and ready with an answer in a flash to my questions! I picked my furniture and was the assisted by Megan and Endia and Alana, who were very pleasant and eagerly helped me to decide what arrangement would best suit my needs. And lastly, but certainly not the least in any way the manager of the store Dave, hands down the best I have ever dealt with...he was kind and courteous, he went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. I am a customer for life! Thanks to these people who helped to create this very memorable experience. If I could sum up my experience in one word, the word is PHENOMINAL!
