I only go to this Walmart because it is the second closest location besides the one on Florissant in Ferguson, which is not a particularly great store either. They are consistently out of stock of many items. I never know when my face wash or favorite chips will be in stock, its almost a gamble to shop there if you are looking for something specific. This occurs nearly every time I shop there. Bags for produce are also sometimes out of stock. Frequently the grapes look as though someone has picked out half of the bushel from the bags in the front so you have to dig in the back if you want to get what you pay for. They are frequently out of carts at the entrance and they offer no baskets. If you walk in during these times you either wait 10 minutes for a cart or shop without one. Parking lot carts collectors are frequently too full and a nuisance to parking. The employees are rarely welcoming or helpful. It is nearly impossible to find an associate in some parts of the store. When you are able to ask for assistance, they seem as though you are bothering them even though you are just politely asking them to assist you, which is part of their job! The cashiers are okay but dont expect them to be especially friendly. The lines are long during busy times but that isnt necessarily a problem with the store. Thats pretty typical for Walmart. I am at least glad they have constant security in the parking lot.

I recently went into this location to purchase a few gifts for my wife. One of the items was a watch. To start it off nobody was in the jewelry department, so I had to seek an associate whom directed me to a manager. Finally I was able to get the watch, and due to me not being finished shopping she took it to a csm at the front of the store to await me checking out. I never thought to look at the watch, as I instructed the manager exactly what one I wanted, as I was reading over other items to purchase. 14 hours later I take the watch out of the bag to wrap, and its the wrong one. I return to this location to return it for the one I wanted in the beginning. I must say that customer service was very rude and refused to help me because it was after 10pm. So here I stand bewildered at how Im being talked to, when all I needed was to exchange the watch, for the exact same style watch, but in gold. The price was the same, so it wouldnt have been a big issue. Needless to say after Im able to make the exchange in the morning ( considering they dont sell the one I actually wanted) I will never deal with this location ever again.

this is by far the worst walmart i have ever been to, i called to talk to customer service about a pair of earbuds i bought that stopped working the second day i had them, not only did they hang up on me twice when i was supposed to be "transfered" there manager then kept being extremely rude and ignorant on the phone. When i went in to try to solve the problem and get MY money back for the broke piece of junk they sold me, they told me it was aginst policy to return without the reciept, i tried to calmly tell them that normally that would make sense but that they sold me a BROKEN product and that i wanted MY cash back that i paid for it with. they then proceeded to get loud with me and call me rude for even implying i should get my money back......which makes no sense what so ever, i left without even an instore credit giftcard, i will never shop there again, and i am forsure reporting them to the BBB. i would even consider suing if i wasnt super busy right now. PLEASE DONT SHOP HERE! nothing but ignorant rude and inconsiderate employees that dont care about the cutomer or even there job.

Walmart is Walmart.. They have everything from milk to an oil change for your car.! Very convenient & great prices! Unfortunately, this location is somehow different from any other.. The employees seem to hate their jobs & you can feel it in the air when your here. For the first time in the 4 years that Ive lived in this town & shopped here, I was given truly Great customer service from one young man. My daughter & I came to buy a gas grill.. which is very heavy & didnt fit into our small car.. This employee, "Darion" (I apologise if misspelled ?) was working close to the Lawn & Garden area; stopped what he was doing to assist us.. but, not only that.. he was there after we paid, to help us out to our car and take the grill out of the box and load it into our little Volvo, just so we could get it home.! Great young man & Great Customer Service!! Thank you, Darion. I hope youll be able to influence other employees to step up and help customers like you did!! A+

I went to buy a black Moore goldfish. I ended up choosing goldfish. There was a little African American lady back in the lawn and garden section doing absolutely nothing but walking around. She asked if she could help and I said yes and she looked in the cabinets for a bag for them. She found one that had some dirt in it and said she couldnt use it. She then proceeded to look in one cabinet and then go back to the lawn and garden section and wander around for a few minutes and then tell me I couldnt get the fish because there was no bags in the entire store. One she could have gone 2 aisles over and asked another employee to help her because she obviously had no clue what she was doing since she went to lawn and garden to look for bags. Two she wasnt even trying to make a sale since all she was doing was wondering around in lawn and garden and then after she said I couldnt get fish just stared at me and then went back to lawn and garden.

Wow I refuse to come here ever again. Stopped by after work for some makeup and the lady at the makeup registered stared me down like a hawk. I felt completely disrespected and disturbed the ENTIRE TIME!! Then as I was exiting she refused to let me leave and said I had to pay for it at HER register. I walked away and continued to proceed to the front to pay for my items cause I was so annoyed with the attitude she displayed with me. She then chased me down and demanded to get a supervisor as I explained I did not wish to purchase them from her because I thought she was rude and yelled "its my job to watch you!" The person ringing up my items had no problem ringing up my makeup. Very disappointed in this Walmart. Not like theyll even read this review but they need to talk to their employees about customer decency.

Ive been going to this store for 2years and always went through the self check out lane with about 200.00 worth groceries every week and spend about 9 to 10 thousand dollars a year here today I was told by some crabby old lady that I couldnt use the self check out because I had more than 20 items in my cart.when I asked why she said it held up other customers only problem is there are 10 check out machines and only one other person in the area she told me I had to go somewhere else so I did!! I now spend that money at Diebergs store I will be sure to post this on every social media site I possibly can Brian Bauman I was there around 2:30 pm on 4/16/16 I will be going to the Bridgeton Walmart from now on they have friendly people working there
