Ive never been treated so rudely when donating. It is summer and I got my days mixed up, thinking it was Saturday I started unloading a jogging stroller I was donating. It was 11:41 and a lady pops her head out the door and tells me I cant "dump" stuff there until noon. I said Id come back in 20 minutes to which she snapped, "at least". I came back at 11:55, she pops her head out and sends a kid to tell me they arent taking donations for seven more minutes. I told him I knew that I was just waiting. These people were obviously mad at people who had left stuff by the door over night and were taking it out on me. When the kid took my jogger out of the van he snapped the tray off. I gave them a bag of new clothing and told them I wasnt "dumping" and would not be back. Ill be taking everything to Savers from now on. These people are nothing but bullies. Btw, my 6 year old was in the car and when we pulled away she was asking why everyone there was so mean. That pretty much says it all. All that needed to be said was, "Maam, it is Sunday. Next time please know we do not take donations until noon." There was absolutely no need for such rude and unkind behavior.

The staff has been very pleasant whenever Ive stopped in and things are always in order and nicely sorted...my only issue is the same as Mary Howe posted earlier....so many items are priced as if they are new merchandise....& we all know they get these items free, as donations! I live much closer to the St. Ann store but shop this location when I drive my granddaughter to Meramec Community College...I have noticed a sometimes glaring difference in the pricing schedule between the two. Coffee mugs are 50¢ vs. 25¢, Cookie Jars that sold in St.A. for $4 were $8-10 on Manchester. As others said, anything on the order of a collectible or at all vintage is priced similarly to a finer shop rather than a "thrift store". Of course the goal of the business is to make money in order to support their mission, but it also seems they dont take into account the fact that many of their customers are shopping there because they cannot afford to pay new prices at those other stores, thats why they come here!

The new location has terrible selection, with lots of junky low-quality crap other stores couldnt sell. (An endcap devoted to M&Ms scented candles?) the prices on furniture have gone up as well and they let kids run amok in the store and wreck the items. I watched a kid pull parts off a drum kit they were selling for $300 (which was a bit more than what that basic five piece kit was worth in its present condition) and I doubt they would have lowered the price to reflect the newly missing or damaged parts. Another kid was misusing an exercise machine towards the back of the store. It feels more like a playground at recess than a store now. I used to shop at the older location all the time, but I dont think I will be returning.

Love the new location! The store is beautiful and has more of an "upscale" feel without the upscale prices. I am finding more treasures than ever due to the awesome donations. Because it changes daily, I shop there quite frequently. The most important reason to shop or donate there? The cause! I love that its an organization that keeps the money it generates from its thrift stores local to serve the local people in need. Its an awesome place!!

I came to this location after visiting the St Charles location hoping to find some nicer things because of the area. Nope! There was so much junk, dirty items and items that were honestly just trash. It had looked like people just dropped their junk off there. :( The cashiers were very friendly and upbeat however.

Wide variety of merchandise and the store is very clean and well organized. Prices are high though. Several items I looked at could be bought new for the same price. Anything remotely "vintage" has a huge mark-up and theres not much in the way of unique or vintage items.

The new location is fantastic! The quality of the donations is great! However one cant go in there if they are in a rush. Its always packed. Even with all registers running you need to be patient. They will get you through as quick as they can!!!

A majority of the store is used furniture, which I love. They have great antique and modern pieces, in good condition. Similar prices to goodwill but cleaner and nicer.
