11/17/2015, another disappointing trip to "The Wal-Virus" known as Wal-Mart. I want to their drive thru lane to drop off a prescription. ONLY car in a two lane drive thru. I sent my prescription in the tube and waited for a few minutes then pressed the call button. "Ill be with you in a moment", no hello? Waited another 4-5 minutes, said to myself "yup Im done" walked in talk them to give me my script Im heading to Schnucks. Young blonde apologized and I smiled no worries Im not ever going to shop at Wal-Virus again. 1/26/13 @ 12:15am. I wanted to buy a LED tv. I saw a Samsung 46" for $689. The box showed damage (top left side crushed and a hole right in the middle of the box approx 4" you could see the TV screen" I asked to talk to a manger. "Clayton" night shift manger approached. I asked if Walmart would knock 10% of the asking price. I got and i quote, "NO, sorry man!". Not a, "Let me check sir", or "No, Im sorry sir", or "Im not sure, let me check for you". Its rare that a customer would be willing to buy a product that clearly saw signs of visible damage. And just because Im a 40 year old black male, doesnt mean you (Walmart manager "Clayton") can call me "man". Im a or was a paying customer, not your homey. I guess Walmart "friendly service" only applies to a lighter skin tone, my $793 is still green or was. Will head on to "Costco" right behind Walmart. I always feel more welcome @ Costco

Hey Walmart - why dont you honor the warranties on your automotive batteries? I purchased one on 6/13/14 and it failed today - 11/22/15 (about 1.5 years later). This was a 2 year free replacement warranty battery. I came into your store tonight and you no longer carry this particular size (26R) with a 2 year warranty so I carried a 1 year warranty battery up to the "customer service" counter along with my receipt and the old, failed battery. After waiting for about 25 minutes, your "manager on duty", Jessica, told me that they would not honor the warranty because the battery I brought in was a replacement for the original battery I bought that ALSO FAILED WHILE UNDER WARRANTY. Of course she had to confer with 2 other Walmart employees first before making that management level decision. NO WHERE on the receipt does it say that the warranty is voided when the battery that fails is a replacement for a previous failed Walmart battery. In short, Walmart does NOT honor the warranty of their automotive batteries and it appears that like just about everything else you sell, your batteries are garbage.

This Wal-Mart store is actually one of the best ones that I have ever gone to. Me and my girlfriend came over here to work from Illinois. As Im sure everyone around here has been to just about 50 different Wal-Marts across the country, this one actually surprised me on several occasions. I know its small but the employees there ACTUALLY TALK TO YOU! My girlfriend and I were trying to hunt something down in the store and one of the employees asked a very simple question that I have never seen at any other Wal-Mart, "May I help you find something?" I have been shopping at walmart stores for almost 10-12 years and Im pretty sure not once I had anyone ever do that. Another time we had gone in there it was crazy. The huge winter storm was about to hit and every register was filled! Standing in line with just under 10 items a lady in the jewelry department pulled me over to her register and rang out a few of us who had just a little bit of items. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!

A store designed by people w o large families / Architects who never shop! "The Necessary Evil" 1) Horrible shopping carts... Support bar on bottom rack is on top - so you cant slide large items on w o getting stuck / ripping case of water wide open 2) Broke my lug nut off wheel & didnt tell me... Found out while driving down the road! 3) checkout lanes are 1/2 the size of normal grocery store 4) shoppers have to handle their own bags - after asking if I got all my stuff, had to come back to store 5 times in the last 2 years to collect items left behind! 5) bought an XBox for sons birthday only to find USED BROKEN one in the package, prob from an employee! They blamed it on me, basically calling me a thief! So much FUN~HA!

While searching for a product I asked the employee, Jasmine in electronics if she would be able to search for the item using a UPC. She proceeded to tell me no and that there werent anymore in the back with the worst attitude I have ever been given by an employee. I told her I didnt appreciate her rude attitude and she repeated that there arent anymore and that I could leave. I started to walk away when I asked another employee where a manager was to which Jasmine shouted right here. I asked the manager if I could speak to her in private but Jasmine said I could say whatever I had to with her there. I told the manager the story and she apologized. I then went to the customer service and was able to find the product there.

Its always amazing to me the fact that they never have enough lanes open to accommodate the number of customers, yet theres always employee standing by just talking. This isnt the worst Walmart Ive ever been to, but its pretty bad. Additionally, trying to get help at the deli, probably not going to happen in a reasonable time. Ive actually stopped going there because every time I would go to the deli, I would listen to them complain about their boyfriends or girlfriends or external life and never ever helping customers. When I brought this complaint up to the management, they seem disinterested, and obvious reflection of why their team is disinterested.

Update - 7/24/16 Trying to get help on the phone with the tire and auto department resulted in many hang ups and a lot of time wasted. I called the Chesterfield store and had my question answered in about a minute. I will continue to avoid this location. Gone seriously down hill. This Walmart has changed significantly since they opened. For months now you can barely get through what used to be spacious isles because they have too much stuff piled everywhere. I realize this is marketing and that a lot of people buy the things they put out in the middle of the isle but it has made the store unacceptable for me and I will no longer be shopping there.

Something is a little off with this Wal-Mart. Customer service is fine and there arent too many of the trashy types like at some other Wal-Marts in the area, it just seems like they dont carry random items that almost all other Wal-Marts have. So it is kind of hit or miss if the store will have what I am looking for. Hersheys chocolate syrup? Couldnt find it. Kitchen trashcans? Maybe 3 to pick from. Gummy sleeping pills? Nope. Equate breakfast shakes? Try again. Spoon rest? Nope, had to go to the Kirkwood store. It just seems if I have a long shopping list there is always a couple of things left that this store just doesnt carry.

This Walmart is always HORRIBLY disorganized and many of its employees are extremely rude! I called to ask the service desk a question about a return. I was on hold for 25 minutes, talked to 4 people, and was transferred 7 times! And I NEVER was transferred to anyone at the service desk or who could answer my question. When I went to the store I waited in a 14 person line, was cut in front of twice because employees were shifting people around, and then my return was denied. I dont have a problem with my return being denied but ALL of this would have been avoided, my gas and time saved, if they could just answer the phone!
