Love JCPenney. They have great sales. They have a wonderful range in sizes and merchandise. The quality is great and if something does go wrong, they do easy returns. I love the Ana clothing line - it holds up to the test of time and the clothes are super comfortable. 1 star off for this store site. This site does not contain items for the home (like bedding and towels) - you have to go to another location for those times. This site does not have enough handicap parking spots. They try really hard to keep the bathrooms clean, but there is usually a mess. There is never enough staff and always long lines to check out. The staff are pleasant, but Ive never found an employee available to help who was not checking people out.

I only gave one star because they do still carry good brands and nice merchandise. The major problem is that the store looks like a war zone every time we come in. I can only guess that the reason for the terrible appearance and condition of the sales floor is a total lack of management involvement. I have seen outlet stores that are more pleasant to shop. This is not an isolated event, same condition each time we come in. Makes it very difficult for a customer to shop when clothes are thrown about and appear to be un-zoned for many days. Please correct this problem and bring JCP back to its past excellence.

The hairdressers are like salesmen, they are so focused on trying to sell you their products that they dont focus on what your wanting to do with your hair. I had a bad experience with their salon. They have people fresh out of college with less experience cutting peoples hair. The young gal that I had messed up my bangs, she had no clue what she was doing. She kept cutting them shorter and shorter and they became uneven, she tried to hide her mistake. I will never every go there again, terrible experience. :(

Bad experience with Beth. Nice young lady, but I received a very bad "trim". I had to get it repaired the next day by another hair dresser. I should have inquired more about prices when I chose to stop by this salon while shopping at JCP. I was shocked when I was billed for a $32 "trim". And I should have been more explicit in what I wanted done and veto the shampoo and blow dry. So I take responsibility for my part in this bad experience. But I truly think I could have cut my own hair better.

I was in the store right after the new year and there were only two registers open on each floor with lines of at least 20 people in every line. At one of the closed registers clothes were piled and thrown all over it, a lot of areas look like a tornado had gone through them. Seriously...if thats the best customer service you can provide and the cleanest you can keep your store then maybe you need to close this store. My friend is shopping today and says the store is a wreck.

The actual store isnt the problem. JC Penny has a great selection and prices to match. With this location its the staff, or lack thereof. There is ALWAYS a line (like its Black Friday) because theres like 5 people working here at a time, anytime. And the staff are never in any hurry to fix that either. Youve been warned so do yourself a favor. Unless you have a half hour plus to wait in like- Im being kind with that time limit there, dont shop when you have other plans.

As a retired JCP associate, I have NEVER seen a store more messier than this store. Merchandise on tables were a total disaster and disorganized. No associates on the floor to help customers. Store looked very cluttered and overstocked.

Would give it 5 but didnt because everyone was super helpful except for first people we asked to hold a dress. Also the ladies at Sephora in the store were really kind and helped give me a eye makeup look to match my prom dress.

Good for professional dress wear for men. They usually have very good sales on Black Friday, which I am looking forward to. Other than that I usually skip this store and go to TJ Maxx or Old Navy.
