A little over a year ago I purchased a 04 f250 from these guys,Which was lifted by them.which also has the notorious 6.0 liter diesel,I was very hesitant about buying becouse of that motor and the problems it has,however they assured me that the motor had been "bullet proofed"wich means the factory issues had been taken care of.so other than that it appeared to be what I was looking ,so I bought the $18,000 dollar truck.took the truck to be inspected,didnt pass,needed muffler and power steering pump and omg was it a nightmare getting them to get those issues taken care of,wich they are responsible for doing.shortly after that took the truck to a very reputable shop to see what else may need to be taken care of,the list was long,all new brakes ,rotors,calipers,pads,lines,front drivshaft, ujoints front and rear it kept going almost 5 grand!! When they were done..so a few months ago on my way home the rear end locks up for a sec,back to the shop emergency brake system had rusted away and locked up.another 1500 bucks.a week later abs light comes on,back to the shop abs module fried 900 bucks.as I was talking with mechanic he said your coolent tanks seems to be overflowing,he suggested I take the truck to st.Louis diesel and have them do a well check on motor..did that guess what,motor had never been bullet proofed like they told me and the motor is on the edge of having the 6.0 nightmare happening.and will cost 6,000 to take care of..so take the truck home and said to myself its just gonna have to sit for awhile,so decided to run it up to the gas station the other day and rear end locks up again and pulls drive shaft from yoke at transfer case.so now the truck is sitting with two major repairs to be done and I have hefty car payment for it and cant drive the thing,during all of this we contacted them several times and also the b.b.b. Which also contacted them and they have never made one attempt to make any of this rite..so future customers of auto solutions be very aware of vehicles from these guys and insist on having a prebuy inspection done by a shop of your choice before buying from them.also would like to add that this truck was bought as a secoumd vehicle for me and not a daily driver,it has Sat more than driven either do to mechanical issues or just not feeling comfortable taking it anywhere and has never been driven hard or abused off road by me..what a nightmare this experience with these guys has been.

Dropped almost $12,000 cash on a vehicle from them in less then a 5 month period the thermostat went out, water pump blew, transmission started going out, half the heat vents went out and will blow only cold air, cd player went out, service tire monitors went out, started leaking oil, half the dash lights went out, and the mechanism to lower the spare tire was broken and the spare had to be cut off the bottom of the truck. We still have a warranty but its drive train only. Youd think dropping $12k cash on a vehicle theyd make sure you got a decent vehicle.

They listed a car with the wrong price. I asked several times if that was the correct price and was told yes. They ran my card and then proceeded to tell me the actual price. When I went to get refunded they treated me like dirt. They blamed me for their mistakes several times. I was cussed at and called stupid. I wouldnt recommend this place if it was the last place on Earth.

I found an 05 expedition online and called and set up an appointment. When my wife and I arrived we found the vehicle nicely detailed and gassed up and ready for a drive. The vehicle was exactly as described online plus more, VERY clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and no pressure . we are very happy with lake stlouis autosolutions experience.

We repeatedly called about a vehicle they had for sale and were waiting days to get a call back to see if we were approved. They would not return any phone calls and each time we called theyd say well call back in an hour but never would. They obviously dont want to sell anything! Would not recommend.

Horrible service! Purchased a vehicle from them and have had nothing but nightmares with it! Making payments on a vehicle that now sits in my driveway until I have a few thousand more to put into it!! I WILL NEVER recommend buying from auto solutions. They do not stand behind their vehicles!
