Acting Manager Diane was avidly unwilling to offer product at correct price. VERY UPSETTING experience! The product (Trufuel 50:1) was OVERPRICED at $7.99. The ACE website list the product at $5.99, and their closest competitor LOWES sells the same product for $5.69. I showed the cashier and another employee the ACE webpage on my cell phone and they were pretty sure that Diane would authorize a price override to correct the error, making my purchase $5.99. In front of a group of employees she told me that she was not able to do it and that if I wanted it at that price I would have to go somewhere else. Not only was I surprised, but I believe the other employees were too. Considering that everyone saw the correct price of the product on the ACE website. Her response was unnecessary and ineffective at giving a loyal client an easy solution. The GM John has bee helpful before in correcting prices, however Diane was not focused on customer satisfaction. I have had some hit or miss experiences at this store and sometimes which there were another hardware store close to my home so I could avoid the inconsistencies at the Westlake 071.

Excellent service received from beginning to end of my visit to purchase light bulbs. Staff very knowledgeable about light bulbs, energy efficient and rebates. Plus answered questions I had about drills and instructions on how to use one. Cashier was great anfriendly as well. Posted this because great customer service is becoming obsolete

Great service, helpful advice. Excellent garden center in the springtime. Carry just about anything you can need, mix custom color paint, and will order what they dont carry! Friendly people.
