I called on the phone looking for Brown Decora Style Outlets for a job I was trying to finish over the weekend. The man on the phone assured me that he had them. He even counted them out and held them back for me. Again I asked him if they was brown and again he said yes. (three times I asked this question) so after driving 26 miles across town to pick them up, I irrived at the store and was handed "BLACK" and the man even had the nerve to say, "thats as close as I had" CLOSE IS NOT BROWN STUPID !!! Black is Black and brown is brown. The only reply I got from the store and even the manager was "sorry". DO NOT TRUST THIS ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT. it turns out that this guy didnt even know the diiference between a standard outlet and a decora outlet. nor does he know his colors. I would be very carefull about this man picking out electrical parts for your home, this can not only be a color challange but he could BURN DOWN YOUR HOME if he gives you the wrong thing. He will be so sure that its the right thing he will put your life and home in Danger !!!! I have never wrote a review before about anyone, but please be carefull if you shop here.

I rented a Rug Doctor machine at this Ace because I wanted to support a hardware store close to where I live. Everything started off OK, got the machine, paid $45 and got it home. Unfortunately, it did not clean any dirt from the carpet. In fact it left a stain on the carpet from something that must have been in the tank. Got back to the store told the cashier about it, she was very nice and said maybe her manager could do something about it. Marty, the manager, was summoned. I told him it didnt clean the carpet and thats why I brought it back within an hour. Marty proceeded to tell me all the reasons why I either didnt know what I was doing or must be mistaken. He let me know he had rental properties and these worked fine for him and I must be mistaken, etc, etc. I told him I didnt want a hassle and just charge me the $45. Unfortunately, that was an example of exactly how to not handle that situation. Next time Ill go to Home Depot.

Im taking hand tools in today to be sharpened, lopping shears and such. They send them out and I can pick them up later. I am so glad this store is in my neighborhood. It is a great place to shop. If you want help tell the cashier as you enter. Otherwise one of those Helpful Hardware People is likely to ask you somewhere in the store if you are finding what you need. No pressure to buy. I love this place.

They remodeled several months back, looks good, but had to find everything all over the store again. It gave me a chance to explore and see what new products they have, wish they would have redone the floors though you can see the old layout on the tiles but they new layout looks a lot better just need to get used to it. VERY Friendly staff.

The people woho work here are always knowledgable and extremely helpful. They dont just tell you where something is, they take you directly to where it is. They also are able to answer any and every question that I have had for them.

Tools and equipment plus gardening supplies and flowers. It feels a little more inviting to me than the other huge, sprawling hardware stores out there full of contractors looking for bulk supplies.

Great place to go. I needed a rake so I went here and glad I did. A young kid helped me and sold me on a LeafPro rake for $66.87 and I couldnt pass it up
