Rude works so i was here and there was 2 staff frighting right there in the front end and i yelled if you want to fright take it to the back room where your guest wont see it i did not want kids to see this and kids was in the store and then they quit after i said some thing they i went there the line paid for my items and then security want to call me names and cuss at me then he tryed to kick me out but i spoke with the home office of save a lot and the home office of the security company and got the issue fixed and i went to save a lot and spoke with the dist manger over the store he agree with me it was not good that they was fright where shoper could see and he was not happy abort the security graud cussing me out but i did get to the bottom of it and got the issue fixed and i used to work and walmart so i know my store and that what people dont like

the store is a joke. They never seem to have enough staff. At check out most of the time there are long lines of people waiting with one cashier ,If your lucky they will have two. While waiting in line you will see other employees standing around doing nothing. I think when they get busy like that the all the employees should work together and open more check out lanes. If there was another store close to me i would never go to save a lot. They need to learn to put the customer first .

Dont bother going here after dark. By the time you make your way past the drug dealers and prostitutes, youll find the door locked. At 8 PM on Monday. What gives? I figured it was locked for security because I saw people still inside. The morbidly obese security guard who was there overseeing things waddled a few steps toward the door and managed to squeeze out "WERE CLOSED" just before running short of breath and clutching his chest. Welcome to Kansas City, MO.

Inexpensive grocery store. Lack of organic options but they do have fresh produce and things like canned veggies, nuts, beans and frozen fish if you are eating more of a Mediterranean diet. Bottom line: if you are on a budget, live in the neighborhood and/or dont own a car, this is the place to go. (Note: I go here mostly because it is close, but for organic and specialty items on a budget, I go to the ALDI at 39th and Wabash.)

This is the worst grocery store in the city. Bad layout. Non name brand items are often found at name brand prices. They never have enough checkers. Their produce is ok and beats some Aldis. This chain is a discount chain, so you arent going to find a large selection, but the feel of this one is terrible. Truman road and North Kansas City both have better Save-A-Lot stores.

I think they sell more plastic products than food products. It also seems that, on the off chance, two registers are open and the line is short, that they close one to ensure that the line goes well into the isle. Ive lived a block away from this store for about a decade and I am still hopeful for a real grocery. "Save-A-Lot, selling poor people poor food!"

Affectionately referred to as Ghetto-mart in these parts, best to stop by well before the sun goes down. Other than that, its good for your staples, just make sure to factor in time waiting in line as rarely is there more than one lane open.

Its nice to have a nearby store with all the essentials. The check out people here are always both professional and pleasant. Selection could be better, but I guess thats just how save a lot has small stores and low prices.

Unclean, a little messy. Cashier was nice. That pot hole in the parking lot thats been there for about 2 years and u have to drive over it because its at the entrance.
