I am so disappointed having to write this review. I have been a loyal price chopper shopper for years now and the way i was treated this evening was unprofessional and completely discourteous. We will start with a normal shopping trip on Saturday 8/19 to price chopper for my usual groceries. There were no limes....no big deal. This evening 8/20 coming home from Columbia MO I still needed limes. I decide to call Barry rd. Price chopper since it is my go to store right by my house to see if they have limes. I speak to Lisa in customer service who tells me since its after nine pm she cannot transfer me to produce to check if there are limes. Okay Lisa is there anyway you can ask the manager to check if there are limes. She asks the grocery store manager Gary. Gary tells Lisa yes we have limes. Okay I think great on the way in town I can stop by Price Chopper and get limes. Fast forward 45 min to arriving at price chopper. I walk to the produce to grab two limes and to my surprise NO LIMES! I just called! I was told by Lisa that Gary said there were limes. It is late and slow. No one is at customer service so I ask a couple cashiers at the checkouts if there is someone named Lisa anywhere to assist me. Lisa went home I was told. Okay where is the store manager. One of the cashiers went to get someone to help me and it was Lisa. She didnt go home. At this point I am super confused and no employee has any idea about anything going on. Lisa is extremely rude asking how she can help me then pointing her finger in my face to hush so she can amswer the phone. Lisa then goes on to tell me she is not allowed to leave behind the customer service desk to physically check to see if there are limes because produce is closed. I understand having to have someone behind customer service at all times but is it really that hard to ask one of the four other employees standing around to check if there are limes. So I ask to speak to Gary the store manager who told Lisa there were limes. Gary acknowledges that he did say there were limes and he is puzzled where they all went I guess. He went to the back to look for limes. During this waiting period another customer came in to return a carpet cleaning machine you rent and have 24 hours to return. This customer simply wamted to return this evening bc he has to work tomorrow and doesnt want to be changed for another day. Sounds simple right. Actually no Lisa rude as could be said customer service was closed she cant take the item back since they are closed. Price chopper isnt closed but customer service is. Makes zero since to me as why no one wanted to help more. I am witnessing all this as I am still waiting on Gary to bring the limes he said Price Chopper had....after about 5 min. Gary comes back empty handed saying there are no limes. No one said sorry. No apology for wasting my time. I feel this all could had been easily handled if customer service after like customer service and wanted to help the customer. When I called if Lisa or Gary would have physically checked to see if there were limes I would not be writing this review. I have never felt so disrespected like my requests were not worth their time. Now its almost an hour later and Im very sad to say because of these happenings I will not continue to shop at Barry rd Price Chopper I will take my business elsewhere where simple requests will be treated with respect and where I feel customer service is actually there to help the customer.

The store is very clean, and looks very nice. Im not thrilled with the awkward setup of the registers, and I dont like that the cashiers have their backs to us. Im also not very happy with the setup of the store in general. The middle is fine, but the deli is in a corner and after a year I still have trouble remembering where it is until I get to the end of my shopping. Leaving the refrigeration area to proceed to checkout is a tight fit. However, the people are helpful and courteous, and the grocery options satisfy my needs.

What I liked was it 3as clean. Ask me what I didnt like. That would be your bait tactics. You lure folks in with "savings", but when I get there all the sale items are gone. Isnt the 1st time this happened. Im no retailer, but common sense says, when you advertise sale items they should be there. The ONLY reason I came to your store was for sale items. I dont care how good your "sales "are , I wont darken your door again. Hire a stocker. You charge enough.

I used to be an avid Price chopper shopper. Since moving here just off Northoak and shopping at that store I dislike it very much. They run out of sale products all the time. And I dont like the way they cut their meat. I never used to shop at Hy -Vee but now I do. I only go to the store when I just need a couple of things like milk and bread. I also get a lot better gas savings and Hy -Vee.

This grocery store is the best one Ive visited in the Northland (compared to Target, Wal-Mart on Ambassador, Hy-vee on Barry, and the new Aldi on Ambassador). Excellent selection with even some exotic items like lemongrass, shitake mushrooms, etc. The produce is always super fresh and awesome, especially in comparison to places like Wal-Mart.

We come here about once a week to shop. Usually able to find good meat and everything we need. The only thing I would suggest is expanding the selection of Green Mountain Coffee brand to include the blueberry flavor. We have to go to Hy Vee to get that but Im satisfied with everything else.

i like that it is close. I dont like that I buy Best Choice shredded cheese with an expiration date of 9/23/15, only to be moldy. I also dont like that I call about it, because the cheese may need to be pulled off the shelf and I am immediately hung up on.

This store is a typical supermarket that has a wide selection of products. The layout is a little odd because the shelves are far from the entry doors and divided into blocks rather than one system of continuous ailes.

The socioeconomic status of the customers has frankly gone downhill quite a bit. Parking is very convenient, and the food is still very good. It seems as if they turn off half the lights to save money in the facility.

My first go to spot for my specialty foods before paying higher prices at HyVee. The drawback is that the staff really have no clue if you need to find something so cross training is not a thing here.

Newly constructed grocery store with all the extras and conveniences-- drop by to pick up dinner, shop, at the dollar store, or choose from lovely baked goods with a cup of gourmet coffee.

Clean, easy to navigate store. Everything is laid out beautifully. It has a fresh orange juice maker, fresh seafood and fish as well as an olive bar and a chicken wings bar.
