I drive to a different town to grocery shop because this store is so bad. So does anyone I have ever spoken to about this Price Chopper. It is a pity that it is the only store in town. Oh how I miss Sunfresh. It is unfortunate that THIS is the impression given of Grandview to anyone who makes the mistake to walk through the door. I have lived in Grandview for many years, and this store certainly does not reflect my experience with what this city is like. It is ALWAYS dirty. The employees dont speak to you, but do gossip to each other across check out lanes or in the aisles about low life subjects, as if you are not even there. It is as if they hire employees on a prison work release program. At least this is the level of class and professionalism - neither are present. The produce is disgusting. On the rare occasions when I must go there, I refuse to buy anything that is "fresh", or refrigerated or frozen. I dont trust how the items were handled or stored, or even where they were obtained. Then just to complete the impression, the moment you walk in the door you will find yourself face to face with a cop or security guard (not sure which). He seems to be expecting armed intruders at any moment. And another one near the check outs. Makes me feel like I live in a bad area...but only when I am at Price Chopper. To sum it up, this store has consistently (for 15 years) been THE worst shopping experience I have ever had. I am not only inconvenienced by needing to go to a different city to shop, but I am embarrassed that this is the portrait we are presenting of Grandview. And I really would prefer to spend my money in my city, but not at the expense of this kind of experience. Thanks, Price Chopper, for perpetuating the Greater Metro Areas inaccurate view of Grandview. You have done us proud. I can only hope that the current remodel also means that this store has been sold and that every single employee will be replaced. Fingers crossed.

One of the worst shopping experiences that I have had in my adult life. "Fresh" produce is at best just this side of being rotten. Selection is poor on a recently stocked day. I was in this one on 2/17/16. I stood in the express lane (12 items or less) for 5 minutes with 7 people in front of me before I realized that the customer at the register had a full cart. Obviously more than 12 items. There was another lady in front of me who was dejected because the line was not moving. She also had a full shopping cart in the express lane. I proceeded to an empty checkout and placed the lowly 2 items I had on the empty conveyor. In the parking lot I called and asked to speak to the manager. Mitch the manager informed me at this time that he was doing the best he could do with the staffing available. I then asked him if maybe he could manage to help the customers in the store a little better in the future and plan for the evening rush a little better. Again all I got was a sorry and I am doing the best I can do. This was not my first bad experience here, but more than likely it will be the last. Very unhappy with the store overall. The people working at the register do not seem to care about taking care of the customers in a timely manor. I could go on and on, but I will leave it at this. Good luck to any other customers that choose to go to this location.

Very pleasant. But they didnt have any of the sale items they were out of a lot of the sale items. So I had to take what was left. This is the only Price Chopper that I know about it always runs out or does not have a good quality or quantity of sell items they only have one or two selections of things that are on sale like popping juices they never keep theirs stock full. It would be nice to go to this Price Chopper and find things that are on sale and you have a good variety the other Price Choppers that I go to they have a better variety of sale items. This Price Chopper is close to home and I dont want to go a long ways and there are one or two real nice people maybe three or four real nice people at this one but they never keep a good stock of their sale items. I also like this one because they have the childs shopping cart no other Price Chopper that I know about has one thats another reason I go to this Price Chopper cuz my grandchildren lights to use the child shopping cart but I wish they would have more than one and make a little bigger one for the older children period I dont know why no other Price Chopper has one. I will keep going to this one even though they dont have a good quality quality of sale items

This establishment is poorly managed overall. Its smelly and dirty. They let teenagers run through store acting silly or dont mind them taking all of the electric scooters from people that might actually need to use them. The only management ive seen be corteous is the gorcery manager. He is a sweet man. The meat manager, the store director, and a more than half amount of the cashiers and stockers are rude. (The bakery has a very sweet man working in there, only one interaction with him but i will always remember his politeness.) They dont care about customer service. Customer service up front cannot even make change for $100 if you need it. The grocery supervisor and the young man with dreadlocks that pushes carts and ive seen stocking before are kind. They need to be working for better management. If their management can treat customers like they have me this morming i cannot imagine how employees themselves are treated. I can see im not the only one upset with this store, i hope someone takes over and revamps while all the construction is going on in that area. The store needs a better reputation and a major overhaul in the owner/director area.

Need to make a quick run to the grocery store? Dont go here then. Ive come here many times because it was close, but Ill have a basket or one or two things and have to hold on to them for 10-15 minutes while standing in line. Every single time. Doesnt matter how busy. To their credit, they stock some stuff I cant get at Aldi; to their detriment Id usually rather go without those things than have to wait in the slowest lines Ive ever experienced. EDIT: I forgot to mention that Ive gotten chicken here twice and it made me sick both times so I dont get chicken here anymore.

So happy for the remodel. Just hoping it stays nice and clean. They have a "Harrys liquor" with a separate entrance which is nice...... only if you go 11am-7pm! Do not like those hours at all. Especially during summer hours on the weekends. If your going to have a liquor store separate entrance it should staffed and open the same hours as the store for those customers that just want to get in and out for their liquor of choice.
