So few book stores nowadays. Im grateful the for the few that are left, like this one. When I walk through the door, Im immediately back in middle school, headed straight for the music section at the back of the store to buy the latest Broadway soundtrack....because Im a theatre nerd. This Barnes and Noble is pretty huge! Definitely bigger than the other location in STL. There are plenty of nooks with comfy seats where you can curl up with a book and spend a couple hours! Theres a Starbucks inside that also serves Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. Thats a major win as far as Im concerned! I bought one of my husbands birthday presents here about a month ago. I needed some help decided which direction to go and the gentleman working in the back around movies and soundtracks was very helpful and very friendly.

Theyve just redone the layout of the store and its really inviting and open now! This is the bookstore browsing experience youve dreamed of...and it is doubly good that while youre there you can get your Starbucks coffee in their cafe. Really good selection of quality kids toys, too!

Its December, the time when lots of shoppers are out. The WIFI connection at this store is less than 1 MB per second. Store manager explanation: so many people are trying to connect to the free WIFI. That slows it down. Connected to Apple store free connection: 29 MB per second.

Nice big book store. They have a good kids area with some Thomas The Tank Engine tracks that we like to let the little one play with while we browse.
