Absolute Joke. I went to the store to purchase carpet for a whole house. I got to the store and sat in the flooring department for 15 minutes waiting for someone to help me. I should have left then. Once I selected my 72 hour install carpet, I was informed that the lead time was actually 2 weeks. So I selected about 3 more carpets, all of which had similar lead times. I was finally able to decide on something and scheduled them to come out and measure. They did and then the real nightmare started. I probably spent 15 hours, calling, being placed on hold, being hung up on, and calling with no one ever answering to the install company. After a solid week of this, someone finally answered and scheduled my install for a month and a half out!!!!! So much for a 72 hour install. This was the last thing we needed to do before we could list our house for sale so it completely messed up our timeline. When I scheduled the appointment I told them I would likely be calling back to cancel because I couldnt wait that long for the install and they acted like it was no problem and told me they just needed 48 hour notice. Well I just called the store to cancel and they are charging me a 15% restocking fee which will end up being almost $300. Great business model, provide no service, drive the customer completely insane, and then charge them hundreds of dollars for their troubles. I flip houses and spend thousands of dollars a year at Home Depot buying tile, flooring, appliances, cabinets, and construction materials. If they want to loose out on that business over $300, thats on them. Im happy to give my business to Lowes and Menards.

It breaks my heart to have to downgrade my review on this store. There are a lot of good people working there and the Store Manager runs the store like a Swiss watch and inventories the store well. Unfortunately a simple carpet installation became a nightmare as I was ping-ponged back and forth between the Bridgeton flooring desk and their corporate measurement department. Corporate insisted that I pay $6.50 a square yard custom installation fee on a carpet that only cost $1.80 per square yard. They said the local store could reverse the charge for glue-down installation, but the local store said they couldnt. The Bridgeton flooring desk said only corporate could make the change but they couldnt. Hacci-macci. Took my business elsewhere. Was not worth recovering the $35 measurement fee to be in the middle of a "not me" tussle between corporate and Bridgeton.. Only one bad experience, but golly, it was a doozy that wasted a precious vacation day and hours more on the phone.

I took my son here today to get a few things, and while there I put him on a shelf to play a mini foose ball game. After a few minutes an employee (I think it may have been the manager) asked him to get down, but then also told us to get the game down too. After a few more minutes he came back and told us that we could take it home, it was all paid for. I have always heard stories of random acts of generosity from strangers, but never expected to receive one. Forget Lowes, we will be coming back to Home Depot now!

The tile department guy Tony the ne on his vest. Not very customer service. Was looking at the displays. Nothing that tells you what the name or color is. So asking TONY. How would someone know what the display is called. He stated because you asked me. Well there isnt always someone around to ask. Thank you: Just looking.

My Maintenance guy stopped in there for 5 minutes to buy a faucet part at 1pm. When he came out, he found that his lawnmower in the back of his truck had been stolen in broad day light. Store didnt care when he asked about surveillance tapes. They told him that he couldnt see it and would have to subpoena the store...

Bridgeton location is a mess must not have enough employees to keep the store organized. The employees they do have are outstanding but the store is a disaster. The bathrooms are so dirty please clean them up for your customers thank you

I found everything I was looking for today. Sales Associates checked in with me often to make sure I was finding everything ok. The cashier was very nice and friendly. And there were no lines at the registers!!!!!!!! Alleluia!

Pretty big Home Depot. This location is close to home and is easy to get in and out of. Now that Menards is down the street there is a lot of selection close by.

Customer service in millwork was terrible. I spoke with the manager to complain, she was apologetic. Adam was rude, Don tried to be helpful. This as on 6/18/13.

This particular Home Depot has a lot of competition from neighboring home improvement stores. Seems like a lot more contractors here than in Lowes.
