This Shoe Carnival is ridiculous. The first time we bought shoes (Mens New Balance) here, the soles wore out within a week. We took them back to Shoe Carnival and they said "too bad." We went to Journeys in the mall and got the same shoes for $5 more, but they came with a guarantee: very happy. So even though I was a little annoyed with the service at Shoe Carnival, I decided to give them another chance. When I got to the store, they had a sign reading "ALL SHOES: Buy one get one half off." We picked out our shoes and went to the register. When neither pair rang up half off, I asked the lady "Isnt it BOGO?" She said "That ended yesterday." Now I can understand if the sign said something along the lines of "valid through....." but it said NOTHING about when the sale ended.I asked if she could honor it since a sign was still up, she said No. I basically told her it was false advertising and I would never shop there again. There are so many other shoe places around St Louis where I will take my money from now on and I suggest everyone else do the same!

Came in an hour before close on a Monday. An incredibly courteous and knowledgeable young lady assisted me (unfortunately, I forgot her name) and went above and beyond in her recommendations for professional shoes. Ended up buying 2 more pairs of shoes due to the sale and the opportunity to spin the wheel to get a few extra bucks off. Definitely would recommend. Keep up the good work!
