DO NOT STEP FOOT ON THIS LOT!!!!! there are 32 used car dealers between south county and festus take your money to any of those well before considering anything off of this lot .my experience in just one week from making my mistake of trusting this place. day 1 i go to look at a pathfinder it dies before i can even test drive it then i look at a white mazda that shakes so bad idling that it rattles my teeth i then look at and decide on a passat which SEEMED would work great for my needs. Im supposed to pick up my car after work the next day arrange details for my daughter leave work early arrive at the lot car should be detailed and safety done. day #2 the car is untouched and the safety inspection has not been done. neither the sales man or the owner are there at the time the shop guys offer to hurry up and run it thru safety when i notice issues with the tires. they are past the safe wear markers on the tread i ask about it and if they will pass safety. (the shop that does testing is part of the lot)they say they are very very close but will pass. i then ask about the light bulb malfunction light on the dash(was told the day before it was a daytime running lights indicator which was a lie)so it is found daytime running light on side needs to be replaced and the whole front end has to come off to do that. so i leave to get my daughter car not picked up. night #2 i talk to the owner who after telling him the tires would fail at any other inspection place in the state(other then the one on his lot)decides to try and make me pay for half of the tires but only after i notify him i will be getting safety done at another more respectable location does he acknowledge the tires need to be replaced .the car was sold being able to pass inspections as it sat it did not.so after arguing with the owner that i was not going to pay extra for tires he finally realized he was the lot owner not me and paid for tires. (nothing like the joy of buying a car and arguing with a lot OWNER to make the car pass safety)day #3 again car was supposed to be ready and again it had not been touched when i arrived!!!so now for the second day in a row i left the lot without my car and again lot owner no where in sight.day#4 go to pick up car the tire pressure sensor warning light is still on it has not been fixed like had been talked about and the front head lights had not been buffed out like promised .now move ahead 3 days leave to go to work and the drivers door will not close!!!! it will not latch shut so i am forced to call off of work(now this piece of junk is costing me money)skip forward 1 day and now on my way home the check engine light came on!!!! in total i have had the car for 4 days and have three costly issues that need to be fixed on this car. i understand its used and there will be issues but NO way in hell should i have 3 issues in just 4 days!!!!...now god only knows what other issues will pop up with this car but i guess its my fault for trusting this lot in the first place for it being a honest decent place to get a car...this place gets cars from the auctions and does the absolute bare minimum to them before they sell them.possibly resetting codes and warning lights and passing cars thru the inspections when they will not pass at any other testing places .they will only do whats needed to sell a car then sell you a broke car with a 30 day warranty where you pay 50% of repairs(basically u will buy a car they know is broke and then you will turn around and pay 50% of the costs to get the car to the point it should of been sold in to begin with) .the owner cares nothing for the buyers safety or for selling a quality car he only cares for making money no matter how it effects his customers.if i could go back i never would of stepped on this joke of a lot!if your looking for quality THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE if your looking for a reliable vehicle THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE if your looking trustworthy ownership who will stand behind their cars THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE if you need a car do yourself a favor and stay as far away as possible.
